Spanish with Alejandra R.

Hi everyone! My name is Alejandra, and I am 28 years old. Languages has been a hobby of mine since childhood, and my experience in learning French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and Russian has led many to turn to me for help in pursuing their own language goals. I specialize in teaching English & Spanish as my most native and mastered tongues. I am patient with my students, and my love of languages truly makes the job of tutoring others a pleasure for me. I was born and raised in California, and English is my mother tongue. All of my education, high-school and post high-school alike, was done in English. This is certainly my strongest language, which is why I can teach it to others. Having been raised in a Mexican family, Spanish is my second strongest language. In order to have a more profound understanding of my roots and culture, I moved to Mexico City 4 years ago and greatly expanded my vocabulary. No one speaks English in my work environment, and I have had to apply my knowledge of the Spanish language in order to make it. My experience in dealing with everything from passports, social gatherings, the hotel industry, taxes, public transportation, banks and so on, in Mexico, is what makes me qualified to impart this language to others. I believe there is no one cookie-cutter method to learning and am open to suggestions in terms of tutoring methods if the student and/or parent requires or desires it.
