    - Over 14 years experience on electric bass and guitar - Graduated in 2006 with a BA in Music Performance/Jazz from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL. - 8 years experience teaching electric bass (all styles) - 5 years experience teaching guitar (all styles) - Professional experience in Pensacola, Atlanta, and Dallas as a teacher, side man, band leader, orchestra member for multiple theatrical/musical productions, recording session musician, music copyist, and sound man. *** Lesson Details *** Lessons will be focused on helping the student reach their own personal musical goals, whether that be grooving, soloing, composing, arranging, or being able to play their favorite bands' tunes, through learning: - to apply music fundamentals to their instrument, which include sight reading, ear training, music theory, and knowledge of their instrument - proper technique - correct posture and hand position - how to be creative and expressive on their instrument I expect my students to be able to provide the following: their own instrument, method book, tuner, and 3 ring binder with note book paper. *** Studio Equipment *** - Dedicated space to giving lessons - 3 Guitars (acoustic, classical, and electric), - 5 Electric Basses ((3) 4 string, (1) 5 string, (1) 5 string Acoustic/Electric Bass), amps, music stands, chromatic tuner, tascam CD trainer - extensive music library of method books, music, and sheet music - computer in lesson area so that the resources on the internet can be available during lessons - The ability and experience of customizing lessons for individual students with Finale notation program. *** Travel Equipment *** - 3 Guitars (acoustic, classical, and electric), - 5 Electric Basses ((3) 4 string, (1) 5 string, (1) 5 string Acoustic/Electric Bass), amps, music stands, chromatic tuner, tascam CD trainer *** Specialties *** Bass - Jazz, Funk, Rock, Pop, Folk, Country, Improvisation, Bach Cello Suites on bass Guitar - Jazz, Funk, Rock, Pop, Folk, Classical, Improvisation
