I believe that passion motivates more than anything, it moves you, it convinces you that everything is possible, and the best part: it is contagious. My favorite piano teacher was passionate, caring, and a master of the instrument. I was desperate to get home and practice new material (either a short passage or a full piece) after each lesson. I like to craft each student's lesson according to his/her needs and goals to keep them motivated while they learn to play and love the piano. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance from the University of Texas and I have been teaching privately since 2012. I moved to NYC in early 2014 to pursue my Masters Degree. I have taught and performed in Mexico, Texas, and the New York metropolitan area. My students in NY have taken the NYSSMA (levels 1 to 6) exams with excellent scores. We will have fun making music together!
