My name is Aku and I have experience teaching kids as young as age 4. I am passionate about piano, as well as being passionate about teaching piano. This is the best job I have had, and I enjoy helping my students grow in their love of music. In my lessons I strive for a balance of structure and fun, with the aim of creating a well- rounded musician.

Aku is an absolutely wonderful piano teacher. She was always on time and came well prepared for the lesson. My sons thoroughly enjoyed learning the piano with her. Aku struck just the right balance between making the lessons fun whilst also keeping my sons focused and engaged. They made excellent progress throughout the time spent learning with Aku and always looked forward to their piano lessons. I would highly recommend Aku to anyone, she always came to our house with an upbeat and happy attitude and we looked forward to seeing her every week.

Aku is a talented, kind, and patient teacher. She connected remarkably well with my 4 year old daughter, who always looked forward to her weekly lesson with Aku. She progressed very quickly through her lessons, faster than you would except for someone her age, and I am sure this was because of Aku’s teaching. Aku played a duet with my daughter for her recital. She was the youngest student there and they did so well! I was so proud of her and what’s even better is that she was so excited and proud of what she accomplished over the past year. Thank you so much Aku!!!
