When I was 13, my father brought home a guitar someone was throwing out. I spent years trying to figure out how to unlock the magic it contained. All I wanted to do was rock. I found traditional lessons to be a drag and taught me a lot of stuff I just didn't need to know yet. 

It took me many years to teach myself and truthfully as a musician you are never done learning. however, foundationally you will become solvent. which is what ill be teaching you. I'll also be teaching you how to teach yourself.

Instead of dictating instructions, I will teach you the context of what and why the instrument does what it does. There is more than enough information online to teach yourself, sure, but how to make sense of it all? I'll be giving you the key to that map.

I've been playing since I was 13, when my father brought home a guitar he found in a dumpster. Now I play guitar, bass, drums, keys, mandolin, ukelele and really anything I can get my hands on. I'm a touring musician, playing bass in a band called Sannhet (look us up).
