I have been boxing for 12 years and have competed in amateur boxing with about 50 fights. I have been coaching boxing as fitness and competition for 9 years, coaching multiple Golden Glove winners. I myself have won the Chicago Golden Gloves 4 times. I specialize in teaching boxing form and technique as well as mental strategy and thought process. I find boxing can be very therapeutic for many people. The cognitive aspects of boxing help numerous athletes with coordination, focus, emotional relief, and discipline. My 30 minute lessons are designed to learn proper boxing, including the form, physics and technical aspects of punches. It is a great workout for the body and mind. No equipment is needed! We will be punching the air as well as working on footwork. Great for those that want to learn at home or in private who do not own equipment. Aisling has been coaching me since June 2020. When my gym shut down due to COVID, she offered classes online. I was excited to start training with her one on one. I had never boxed, and she was patient teaching me the basics. Ive improved immensely over the nearly two years of training. I had back surgery a few months ago and she’s been wonderful helping me rehab my back. I don’t think I would be as far as I am with out her help. She takes a lot of time to fit workouts to each client. I look forward to my sessions every week!
Aisling is the best boxing coach because she learns about her clients and provides workouts customize to your goals. I was out of shape and demotivated during Covid. She pushed me to show up and work on building my strength and skills. She takes the time to explain things that don’t come easy to me. Her workouts are killer but on the days I was stressed or tired, she would change it up so I would feel accomplished and centered. She’s been my coach for almost 2 years. I’ve come such a long way. She’s training me for my first fight, getting me in the best shape, and mentally helping me push through my fear of fighting.
