About Aisha P.
I'm a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional. I graduated from Grand Canyon University with an MS in General Psychology (I covered all the fun aspects).
Psychology students can expect to have an engaging experience on the world of psychology including but not limited to how the brain works, how what we perceive and think affects how we relate to others, how we form bonds and why Freud was would not have been great at parties. There are many types of psychology that can be both useful in everyday life as well as specific to class or future careers. As a QIDP, I use psychology to help me figure out the motivations but people's behaviors and support them in proactively finding solutions. I also have experience as a Mental Health Practitioner (MHP) working with individuals with severe chronic mental illness.
My passion is in supporting students in not only understanding why psychology is important but also looking at the world from a behavioral perspective. Can't wait to help you learn the secrets of human behavior!
