Learning how to ice skate builds strength, develops confidence, and teaches the value of perseverance. As you begin your journey of learning how to ice skate, you will quickly realize that you are learning so much more than skating skills. You will be infused with the joy of improving every time you try something new. Private lessons are a great way to supplement to group Learn to Skate lessons. One-on-one instruction can help a skater to master a challenging skill and progress faster. I work with skaters of all ages to help them through Learn to Skate USA's basic skills elements, and even participate in competitions and shows! I believe in working hard while having fun. My primary teaching locations are Ice Vault Arena in Wayne, NJ and Aspen Ice in Randolph, NJ. I am fully compliant with U.S. Figure Skating Association's coach requirements including green light background check, SafeSport training, and Learn to Skate USA certified. I am insured and a member of the Professional Skater's Association certified as a Professional Group Instructor as well as a Professional Coach/Choreographer. Additionally, I am a current national competitor and medalist in US Figure Skating's Adult Competition Series. Performed in the Smucker’s Skating Spectacular at 2017 Skate America, choreographed by Scott Brown and coached by Denise Myers. Trained at 7k International Skating Academy with coaches Kori Ade, Rohene Ward, and Doug and Lara Ladret. Attended on-ice clinics led by Paul Wylie, Jason Brown, JoJo Starbuck, and Audrey K. Weisiger. I am a proud member of The Skating Club of New York and Essex Skating Club of NJ and currently accepting new skaters from any club.
