Teaching since:
June 2008

I hold a doctorate degree in Music and specialize in teaching classical music from the Renaissance period, Baroque, classical periods, as well as pop and broadway. I teach all voice types, with expertise in mezzo soprano and countertenor literature, but vast knowledge in all. I use proven vocal techniques along side vocal yoga practices to help people to find their true voice.

I have considerable experience training those with disabilities, mental illnesses, and performance anxiety. With all students we endeavor to sing healthily, preserving voices for longevity, and to meet whatever goals the students possess. I am studied in the Bel Canto, Lamberti, and Concone technique and have successfully prepared many students for auditions, contests, festivals, and self confidence for life. The techniques for singing that I use are to create a sound, healthy, and free voice. Hope to study along side you!

Never able to find a date/time to meet. After a month I simply cancelled recurring charge and asked for refund. He lied claiming I was a no show.

Find someone else.

If you are looking for a vocal instructor, I highly recommend Adam! Adam is one of the most patient and understanding people that I have ever met. He has a true passion for teaching and that can be seen during each lesson through a variety of vocal techniques. So far, our vocal pedagogy has included: how proper singing technique is accomplished, breathing and air support for singing, posture, diction, vowels and articulation, range extension, and tone quality. Music has always been an important part of my life and I am grateful to have Adam as my vocal coach in order to further develop my voice. I have learned many helpful techniques from him and I am looking forward to learning more.

Dr. Adam Thomé is an amazing music teacher for all voice types!! Besides being incredibly talented in vocal/choir training, he is a very welcoming person. My biggest struggle was confidence with singing in front of groups, and after only a month I was singing infront of the whole church. Adam provides a pressure-free learning area, and he focuses on the weaknesses of each student. I have never had a better voice teacher!
