Adam is a wonderful tutor and help. He’s patient with those he is teaching & he looks for ways to teach and demonstrate the material in a whitty, impactful manner. He knows everything there is to know about music theory and much more, and a lot of my success in passing all four levels of music theory points back to this guy!

My name is Mary Mercurio Santos, and I am the Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction Coordinator for Azusa Pacific University. Adam worked under my direct supervision as a Tutor and Supplemental Instruction Leader for approximately three years while he was an undergrad at APU.
Adam's knowledge of music, and Music Theory is extensive and comprehensive, and yet he has the ability to break down these complicated theoretical concepts and make them easy to understand for even the most basic learner. I have seen him successfully tutor students at all levels of musical knowledge and experience. If you need to know ANYTHING about music, I strongly recommend you reach out to Adam for services.

I was a music student at Azusa Pacific University and Adam Tune helped me with Music Theory for two semesters. He is very knowledgeable of the subject, and has a clear, friendly, and logical teaching approach that makes the experience fun. He can explain topics and concepts in a way that is easy to understand.
He is also very knowledgeable in music composition, arranging, and in the use of Logic Pro software that he could use while teaching theory.

Adam is extremely knowledgeable and knows how to help people with what they don't understand. He explains things as clearly and simply as possible and is good at finding other ways of explaining things if you don't understand the first time. His kindness and patience is always a good bonus. 10/10 would recommend.

Adam was great! Very helpful. The only thing that was difficult was finding times to get together. I know that many in the class struggled to meet with Adam. Other than that, keep it up!

So far, I've only had one lesson with Adam but I am looking forward to lots more. Adam seems very astute & knowledgeable not just in guitar-playing but in music theory, which is exactly what I'm lookin for in an instructor. He's helping me correct a few bad habits I've developed over the years, on my own. The way he explains things is very simple & to the point. I definitely recommend him based on my first lesson. I'll see if I can update my review at some point in the future but unless something goes horribly wrong, I wouldn't anticipate much to changen

Adam is the best instructor ever for guitar! He teaches you at your own pace and helped me figure out something I had been trying to learn for a very long time by myself! His teaching helped me pass my guitar test last semester!

I studied music theory with Adam because I needed extra help for college classes, and he was a huge help! There were so many concepts that I knew a little about, but Adam helped fill in the gaps of knowledge and familiarized me with the concepts so well, that I could teach them myself! He is patient, humorous, and a complete joy to take lessons from.
