I am the President of Mandolin New England, a 501c3 nonprofit mandolin orchestra. I teach mandolin, mandola, and Mandocello online and out of my studio in Granby Mass. In addition to classical mandolin, I also teach Bluegrass, Celtic, and Klezmer mandolin styles. Weekly lessons are recommended for adults and children alike.

I have learned more from Adam than I had from my two previous mandolin teachers. He is very knowledgeable and skilled in all of the instruments he teaches.

I play guitar in a local band and we decided we needed mandolin on this part, so I put an ad in Craigslist. Long story short the guy we hired to do the part turns out was a teacher. I always wanted to learn the fiddle so I thought a couple lessons would be enough, but this guy knows so much and so many styles that I'm hooked. I live in Greenfield, so most of my lessons are online

I asked at Downtown Sounds in Northampton who is the best fiddle teacher in western MA. Joe said "Adam Sweet". I called and he responded promptly. I must say, he's very patient and knowledgeable. I've been taking lessons now from Mr. Sweet since 2009 when he was teaching in South Hadley
