I have been playing percussion my entire life! Playing all through grade school, in regional ensembles, marching band, jazz band, and theater productions prepared me to enter my collegiate studies as a performance major on Drum Set at Western Connecticut State University. There I spent countless hours honing my craft and developing a sound to call my own. After my time there I continued on to playing in professional bands on recording sessions, long tours across the country and internationally, and on other incredible gigs! I continue to perform and work across the country and teach lessons to students who feel inspired as I do to play this amazing instrument. When I was a student, I was pushed to practice rigorously and achieve ambitious goals, but at times lost my inspiration to play and be creative on the instrument. As a goal for myself as a teacher, I strive to ensure students feel inspired by the instrument to create, compose, and search for fulfillment. Through technique, musicianship, facility, and creativity, we will get you to play the drums and achieve your dreams!
