Trumpet with Adam P.

I love working with kids! Over the past years I've taught plenty of private lessons with kids age ranges 5-14. I've also taught a group of 4 trumpet players ages 10 &11 at Campus Canyon College Preparatory Academy in Moorpark, CA. The kids affectionately referred to me as "Mr. P" (I'm totally cool with that!). I love teaching trumpet fundamentals and technique, but I am also open to just having fun and learning songs if that is what interests the client. I specialize in Jazz Improvisation and Music/Jazz Theory, if the client is interested. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Studies from Cal State Northridge and love utilizing it by passing on my love for jazz and improv! I believe I am qualified to teach Jazz Improvisation to students playing any instrument, and I will be put to the test soon as I will begin teaching a group of middle schoolers Jazz Improvisation in a classroom setting once a week at Sussman Middle School in Downey, CA. Hopefully Mr. P will be the cool teacher.
