I believe music is a very special form of expression and is something I take seriously, yet also have fun with. I recently relocated to NYC. Prior to that, I have spent most of my life in Florida and Los Angeles. I went to high school and college (University of West Florida) in the Fort Walton Beach/Pensacola areas and excelled musically, where I was chosen to participate in honor bands, such as Florida's All-State Honor Band (at the high school and collegiate levels), All-South and have been placed in numerous other honor bands. I have studied with some prominent teachers on numerous instruments. I was also chosen to be the band director for the Emerald Coast Band, the youngest band director ever, at the age of 21. To date, I can play piano and most woodwind and brass instruments and teach these instruments extremely effectively.
