    - Juilliard graduate - extremely versatile - many styles including: jazz, blues, rock, pop, funk, r&b, acoustic, folk/country, songwriting ect. - teaches all levels/ages - willing to tailor the curriculum so that you can accomplish what YOU want I have been teaching guitar for over 12 years, to people of all different ages and levels. I want to help you achieve your goals wether it's just learning the basics of the guitar or helping you find your musical voice within a wide array of different styles. I specialize in jazz but am also very well versed in blues, rock, pop, funk, r&b, acoustic, folk/country and songwriting. I will teach you the skills that I learned at Juilliard and show you how to apply them to your own playing. I am very patient and easy going, because although learning to play can be a challenging process, i believe that it should always be fun! *Please message me before you sign up for lessons, as I charge different rates for lessons at my studio, your apartment and online.

I have had a very positive experience with Adam as my guitar instructor. He is very knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. I could see myself making progress and look forward to my next lesson!

I've been taking lessons from Adam for about 3 years now - He is an amazing teacher! I took lessons before when I was younger but I quickly lost interest. I decided to get back into it later in life (I'm 35 now), but I still struggled to find the right teacher. One was too serious and the other was too relaxed and I felt like I wasn't actually making any progress. With Adam I got the best of both worlds! I was getting better at the guitar, and at the same time I was enjoying myself throughout the whole process. I'm still taking lessons with Adam and I would recommend that you do the same!

I took jazz guitar for two years from Adam. He’s a great teacher and excellent musician. As a former “cowboy chords” guitarist, I jumped from 5 to about 15 chords in a few weeks. Adam is patient and lots of fun. I still catch some of his gigs when I’m back in NYC.
