I served as an Upper Strings Instructor at many music schools over the years. I have also taught privately since 1994.

Upper Strings Instructor

I have been a guitar teacher since 1994. I graduated with a BA in Music in 1999. After graduation, I taught at a number of music schools as an upper strings instructor. I also was a member of many music groups. I have been in everything from 4 piece bands, classical chamber groups, and 100 piece symphonies. I'm also an avid singer and songwriter. I believe it's important to understand the fundamentals. This includes learning chord charts, lead sheets, and reading music notation and tabs.

Hello! My name is Adam. I have been teaching music since 1994. I have taught at numerous music schools as an upper strings instructor and I have been a part of many symphonies and chamber groups. I teach through classical repertoire and widely available student level books. I focus on scales and arpeggios and the fundamentals of technique and theory.
