First of all, I will evaluate the teaching method by speaking to the student and evaluating what is necessary, important, and what the student wants to learn. I teach with various techniques, from basic to advanced improvisation, sound, harmony, theory, and group lessons. 
I am an active Jazz musician in NY, I like to teach the students how to learn songs, how to understand music with a personal approach that is built only after talking to the student and understanding the level and routine required.
My approach is all about FUN! Playing an instrument should not be intimidating to the student.

Music Is FUN! learning a new instrument or the language of music should not be intimidating! I highly value any music student with a fun, non-judgmental approach to see how to get better on the instrument and how to start/continue playing with more joy, skills and deep understanding of music.
