Hello there! I am a working actor with over 20 years of professional experience. Prior to moving to LA, I worked in Chicago theaters for 7 years and served as an adjunct faculty member at Cal State Fullerton for another 7 years teaching beginning acting classes. I am a member of Actors' Equity; the union of professional stage actors and I hold an MFA in Acting from Cal State Fullerton. Recent stage credits include South Coast Repertory, New Swan Shakespeare Festival, Capital Stage Sacramento, Golden Thread Productions, and The Great River Shakespeare Festival. I'm particularly adept at working with complicated and classical language, including Shakespeare. I'll help you make sense of the language in a way that is actionable and dynamic to watch. My approach is Stanislavski based, but I tend to incorporate other methods as well. My goal is always to give my students the tools to empower themselves to create strong choices that are supported by the text. I love working with beginning students to help them unlock their untapped potential, and working with more advanced actors to help sharpen their repertoire. If there's something specific you'd like to work on, I'm happy to cater our sessions to your needs. Working on monologues or soliloquies for college/professional auditions? I'd love to help you craft the best material possible!

Delicate adjustments that empowered me and didn’t freak me out, both gently technical and also getting to the core of the scene at hand. Again, without demoralizing me or freaking me out. Easy to do. Trust me. So yes! He was great! ALSO the logistical stuff that you don’t want to think about (sound/lights) were magically adjusted to perfection. Just sayin’. He’s great.

I had college auditions coming up and needed to get coaching on my classical monologue. Adam's coaching was really helpful. He got me to understand the language and the meaning behind the words and how to use my express myself, physically, through the text. He helped me feel really confident going into my auditions. I can't recommend him enough!!!
