Classical techniques always serve as a great foundation. Improvisation, Gospel, Jazz, etcetera, can be taught once this is established. Not only to I encourage students to learn and play music that they enjoy, but I also teach music theory. This helps students not only to perform music, but to comprehend it.
I recently graduated with a Bachelors in piano performance for Texas A&M (2015).
I have about 6 Years of Experience giving piano lessons to both adults and children.
Responsible for the youth choir, the adult choir and praise team. Weekly rehearsals are standard – punctuality is of the essence
Mu Phi Epsilon (ΜΦΕ) is a co-ed international professional music fraternity. Today, Mu Phi Epsilon has chapters both nationally and internationally. The fraternity supports achievement in music through the awarding of grants and scholarships, as well as music competitions, concerts, and summer music programs.
