About Abigail J.
I am a composer and performing artist as well as an educator of music theory, composition and violin. Currently, I am a graduated student at California Institute of the Arts where I get to help teach undergraduate theory and history courses. Before that, I attended Baldwin Wallace University in Ohio where I instructed at middle school music camps and tutored fellow students. I absolutely love teaching, and am excited to meet my new students!
My specific composition work focuses on graphic notation, instillation, and collaboration between non-musicians and musicians of dramatically different backgrounds. When I'm not teaching, I'm attending festivals and premieres or finding inspiration in exploring new places with my wonderful puppy - Cel.
