I am a professional actress/singer and native New Yorker. I am outgoing, not very subtle, and absolutely love comedy. Most recently, I performed for a year and a half in the New York Times Critic's Choice and Drama Desk Winner, "Fiddler on the Roof," (Yiddish) directed by Tony and Oscar winner Joel Grey. Other recent credits include an industry workshop of Barry Manilow's new musical, "Harmony" directed by Tony winner Warren Carlyle, and "Milk and Honey" at The York Theatre Company, along with several regional and Off-Broadway productions. I began coaching colleagues and students while studying at Emerson College's BFA Musical Theatre program. This business is difficult, but we do it because we LOVE it and I want to pass on my love of the craft and help guide others along this crazy path! Embracing our individuality is everything!

Abby is freaking amazing and you should 100% take lessons from her. She’s funny and talented and so knowledgeable about singing! I took lessons because I love musicals and wanted to learn how to manage breathing, etc. I have definitely improved and feel so cool & happy :) for real though, she doesn’t judge you at all and she totally gets everything you may be feeling. With her I was able to get my voice warm and feel comfortable enough to let it out! And she tailors her lessons to YOU. We sang what I was interested in. I am a teacher in real life so I know what good teaching is, and Abby is IT. Having lessons with her during quarantine has been a godsend, too! Take lessons with her & support artists— you won’t regret it!!

Abby is amazing! I've been singing for over 30 years and have always wanted a voice coach. I looked through many profiles in my search. When I can across Abby's profile, I instantly wanted her to train me. I've always loved Broadway, and I wanted an empowering coach like her. Abby is a star, and she will make you feel like one too. I needed help with technique, daily habits, and confidence. Abby is very patient and really listens to her students. She always encourages me and gives feedback in a positive way. She finds songs within my voice range that challenge me, and also works with songs I choose. I look forward to classes every week. In the short time I've been working with Abby, my voice and confidence have improved. Abby also taught me great daily exercises and breathing techniques. I highly recommend Abby for anyone seeking a positive and skilled voice/musical theater coach.
