Learn colloquial and/or standard Arabic in a fun, structured way

I teach in a very context-based, interactive way. I don't believe that rote memorization is an effective tool for language learning, so I create games and scenarios for my students to apply the information that they learn in a fun and exciting way. I create a study set for each of my student's lessons and share them with them for their at-home studying.

In the past 10 years, I have lived and worked in the Arab world, was formally educated in Arabic, and taught the Arabic language to an array of students. I hold a dual degree with honors from The University of Texas at Austin in Psychology and Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures. I studied directly under Mahmoud al-Batal, the esteemed professor and writer of the Al-Kitaab textbook series (Yup, probably that textbook you're using right now). With training in both cognition/development and Arabic, I have taught all kinds of people over the past 5 years. My students range from college students to professional educators, humanitarian workers to businessman and politicians, emergency room surgeons to US Army Personnel, and regular people who are just interested in learning the language. I specialize in one-on-one teaching and make custom lessons for your learning style. Arabic is an awesome language and I will help you learn it well.
