I am currently the saxophonist for electronic artist Zhu. I am a working musician in LA and have recorded and collaborated with artists such as Jason Mraz, Tame Impala, and Zhu. Lessons are all about finding ways to achieve your goals. I want to know what your goals are with music, what music you are interested in, and from there we can develop a strategy. I have a jazz background with BA from UCLA and studied with some of the greats such as Kenny Burrell, Anthony Wilson, and Eric Marienthal. My approach involves a combination of technique, harmony, ear training, learning songs, gear talk, and improvisation. I love teaching improvisation and I think every musician should work towards a vocabulary of their own.

I am currently the saxophonist for Grammy nominated electronic artist Zhu. I have had the opportunity to tour the US and the world performing at festivals such as Coachella, EDC, Lightning in a Bottle, Electric Forrest, ULTRA, and many others. I have also collaborated with artists such as Jason Mraz, Tame Impala, Zhu, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Dave Matthews, and many others. I produce my own music using Ableton Live, enjoy a variety of styles of music, and love to talk about records and songs. I am a huge fan of music and I think the best musicians are. Hard work is great, but inspiration is what motivates us. I want to find out what moves you about music and introduce you to things that make you obsessed and find joy.
