Hi there, my name is Aaron and I specialize in online bridge lessons.
I have played bridge since I was a teenager (20+ years), and have played well over 1 million hands over this time period. I am continually honing my own game via Bridgebase.com (handle = aceman34), arguably the best teaching tool out there.
I generally prefer online lessons because I find my students are more engaged and focused. I have a unique teaching process that I use to help unlock your greatest talents.
Often, the first thing I do each morning is to play a few hands of bridge with my coffee. I look forward to teaching you the secrets of winning bridge, whether you are just starting out or farther along in your journey.
I help Entrepreneurs and business leaders of all ages throughout the world to motivate and empower them to succeed.
I offer online chess lessons, and am working on developing a Youth club in Portland, Oregon to help young folks learn the game a on a volunteer basis.
I taught English to students as young as two years old up to adult learners. I specialized in helping students study for the TOEFL exam and worked with professionals to teach more effective Business English
ESL, TESOL, EFL
I received my certification as an Educator at Aston Schools in Dalian, China. It was my wish to complete the certification while in another country instead of before I arrived. I was very happy with this decision, as my instructor observed over 10 classes and gave me valuable feedback. The program lasted 4 months and I have the certificate should you wish to verify.
TESOL International Association’s mission is to advance professional expertise in English language teaching and learning for speakers of other languages worldwide.
Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs.
Very good lesson.
Aaron has been teaching my 9 year old son chess lessons. After several months with a weekly lesson, my wife and I are very pleased with his progress. At first we had our doubts about whether online classes would work. The truth is that we are very satisfied because the use of technology added interest for my son in learning. Aaron is very patient and makes the lessons enjoyable, with some humor. He has a teaching method that combines strategy and theory with a love for the game. That is the magic of learning and is the key to advance one's knowledge of any discipline. Now we play more and more competitive matches and his progress is very noticeable. We also appreciate Aaron's feedback about how each lesson went and tips to work on during the week to reinforce what was learned.Show More
Our son, Sean, really enjoyed his first lesson with Aaron.
Aaron is the perfect combination...he has a mastery of the game and is able to relate it to you on your level. Something you don't find very often. Best of all, my chess has improved dramatically since taking just a few lessons from him. Friends that used to destroy me in chess are now on the receiving end!! Thanks so much Aaron. I'm looking forward to him working with my son, who is turning 6, as well.Show More
