*** Lesson Details ***
In general, I try to tailor my curricula to each student's personal goals, needs, and aptitudes. I am an extremely flexible teacher, in that I do NOT expect all of my students to follow the same musical path. Instead, I help my students to (at once) acquire excellent technical skills and learn to develop and eventually express their own musical ideas and interests.
I believe the process of learning music should be at least at fun as it is challenging. Thus, I always strive to ensure that my students feel personally inspired to stay focused and work hard, to instill a hunger to learn and improve, and to understand that the greater the challenge the greater the rewards.
*** Studio Equipment ***
The In-Studio lessons are taught in a music room that includes guitars, basses, amps, chairs, music stands, drum set, and extra seating. 2 cats and 2 dogs kept separate during lessons, all super cute and super sweet.
*** Travel Equipment ***
Students will need to provide their own equipment. This includes an instrument (guitar, presumably) and any necessary accessories (amp, cables, picks).
*** Specialties ***
In terms of guitar teaching, I specialize in many styles (rock, blues, jazz, classical, metal, funk, pop, folk, etc.). As someone with a PhD in composition, my skills in music theory, ear training, arranging, orchestration, notation, and computer music are extremely proficient.
"Christopher Moore knows so much, he will blow your mind, all the time! He exploded my guitar playing from basic, 1 position soloing to ripping up the entire fret board. You are cheating yourself if you're not taking with him. Why are you still reading this? Call him and start really playing the guitar."
