About Tiffini

I offer a fun, interactive teaching style that encompasses more than 20 years of performing and 15 years of teaching experience. As a performer I have worked as a professional singer, actor, musician, and dancer. I have always had a passion for teaching, directing, and composing. While my love for performing has lessened over the years, I have found my true calling: teaching, directing, and helping others to find their passion for music and the performing arts. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a special emphasis in music, theatre, dance, and psychology. I am a graduate candidate working on completing my thesis as my final requirement for a Masters of Arts degree in Music at San Diego State University. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor because I was primarily looking for patience. I have a long time fear of singing and singing in front of people, Tiffini is very patient and easy to work with.

I would like to start off with by saying that Tiffini is an amazing teacher. I have been taking lessons with her for the last year and a half through Skype and each lesson in that time with her has been an enjoyable experience. I started taking speaking voice lessons with her then switched to singing lessons. She was able to help me immensely on both my speaking voice and singing; getting rid of my mumbling for former and helping me to regain confidence in the latter. With both types of lessons she was knowledgeable, encouraging, kind, patient, and a fun teacher to have. I could go on for at least a few pages about Tiffini, but bottom line is that she is a great teacher and I would highly recommend her to anyone who wanted to start taking lessons through takelessons.com.
Francisco P. North Hollywood, CA

About Francisco

I was born in Argentina. I began playing bass when I was ten years old, while my younger brother began playing drums. I started taking bass classes, and also formed several bands as a bass player, although the drums had always been sounding in the back of my head. After listening to Tool’s Danny Carey and Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater, at the age of 17, I realized the drums were my true love, and began studying the instrument. I continued playing bass in several bands, until I joined the band The Evenfall as a drummer, in 2009. At this time, my family was considering moving to the U.S, and that's when I got the chance to apply to the Berklee College of Music. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2012 with a degree in Drumset Performance. There I studied with the most respected drummers and ...

Francisco is such a great teacher. He tailors his lessons to your needs and challenges you just enough. I took lessons with him for about 8 months, which ended when he moved to the west coast. Otherwise I would still be with him. But he taught me so much and still checks in to make sure I'm sticking with it months after our sessions have ended. He genuinely cares about his students and their love of music and he enjoys teaching and motivating others to play. I highly recommend Francisco as a teacher as he will get you where you want to be.

I took up drums 2 years ago in my early 40's. Francisco was my first drum teacher, and he patiently introduced me to the instrument, exposed me to many different musical concepts and traditions, and really increased my interest in music and drumming. He is an amazing player, and I learned much from watching him play in lessons and also live. Unfortunately he moved from Boston to CA, which was my loss.I reccommend him without reservation.

I took many lessons with Francisco after a period of relative inactivity from playing drums on a consistent basis. I had been playing for years, but had unfortunately become rusty and out of practice at the time. Francisco helped me build my chops back up, and introduced me to new unique concepts in phrasing, approaching grooves, technique, and much more. Francisco's down-to-earth and very friendly personality, combined with his obvious passion for drums and percussion, made every lesson an event I looked forward to. He gave me a lot to think about each lesson, providing me with great musical concepts that can be studied for life. Francisco isn't a teacher who only thrives teaching beginners. As a drummer for several years with lots of performing experience, he still managed to significantly help improve my playing and reignite my spark in drumming. Thanks, dude

She is my daughter's teacher and she is awesome! They get along so well and my daughter has learned and grown so much from her lessons. No only that, but she loves and looks forward to her lessons while stating that she "gets to practice". How many students say they GET to practice instead of "have to practice? "
I highly recommend Tiffany Lynne Sieker.

Aside from being an amazing violin player, Tiffany is a great instructor. I haven't taken lessons since I was 14 -- that's almost 30 years -- and while I consider myself to be a professional-caliber violin and viola player (I'm also concertmaster of a local community orchestra), I know I have areas that can use improvement. Tiffany was very quick to spot them, and to find ways to help me improve them. After only a few sessions, I've already noticed a positive change in my sound and technique. I am continuing to work with her to keep improving and to reach my full potential.

Tiffany has studied under some well-known teachers, and attended Mannes School of Music in New York City (some refer to Mannes as the "little sister" to Julliard). She is well-versed in classical and modern music, performing regularly for classical orchestras, ballets, musicals, and an Irish Punk Rock band! While I'm sure this is all in her profile, I just want to make mention of it here, because it showcases not only her knowledge and experience, but her versatility.

Whether you're a beginner, mid-range amateur, or professional looking for improvement (like me), I highly recommend Tiffany. You won't go wrong with her!

About Bijan

Hi! I believe that music is rooted in all human beings and cultures in a reach and vast variety of forms. Music unifies and engages thinking and feeling in a direct and immediate way. Music influences individuals simultaneously on different levels of consciousness and form an important device for learning, recreation, arranging of conscious and unconscious impressions and at the same time for characterizing and conveying ideas and thoughts. This as a point of departure characterizes my teaching philosophy, which strives to create a climate in which my students can experience continuous musical, intellectual, and emotional growth. As a music instructor and musicologist I demonstrate the characteristics of professional and passionate for everything related to my teaching. I am ...

Bijan is a very good guitar instructor. My daughter and I both took guitar lessons and he was able to work with us as individuals since we both had different skill levels. Bijan is very patient with his students and helped us through various learning obstacles. I highly recommend anyone that needs or wants to learn any musical instrument to take lessons from Bijan.

Bijan is a great teacher. Learning to play the cello as an adult is tough, but he's very organized and encouraging. The recital was very anxiety-inducing, but we did really well and I felt a great sense of accomplishment afterward. I am only discontinuing due to distance and time constraints.

Song selection, breathing tips, mental preparation/meditation, dress, equipment, warm-up drills, instrument maintenance, and many other important aspects are all considered and addressed specific to the style of music and audience/environment for which one may be performing.

I have had the pleasure of playing, and practicing, with Mr. Cris over the last few years. We actually took guitar class together in high school, and even then, I could tell that he was exceptionally talented. Given his family background in music, and his desire to create wonderful compositions, it was no surprise that he chose to pursue music in his life. Recently I have needed assistance with my songwriting and I have had no hesitation in bringing my work to Cris in order to gain insight into what I may need o do in order to successfully finish my composition(s). He is well educated in music, has learned from many accomplished professionals, and is extremely hard working in his craft. And finally, Cris is very patient, insightful, and motivated, when working, and/or teaching, individuals. I would highly recommend him to anyone of all ages.

One of the problems with musicians these days is a lack of formal training. Cris has spent the last 20+ years perfecting his abilities to teach music. In my opinion, Part of what makes Cris stand out from other instructors is his knowledge and open minded view of different styles of music. A teacher with a diverse musical background is ideal for a student who wants to create a good basis or reach the next level in their abilities. Cris is able to help you learn guitar the right way and set a path that will advance your abilities quicker than most other teachers.

Music Criticism: How To Handle a Critical Audience
