*** Lesson Details *** My approach to teaching is simple. The primary goal is to have fun and enjoy the experience of making and creating music. Whether you are interested in pursuing a career in music or just wanting to add a bit of a creative outlet to your life, let me help.
My specialties include jazz, r&b, and pop piano styles. I do teach a little classical but primarily to beginners only. My curriculum is simple. I try to teach you what it is YOU want to know and that which fit your needs. There are some fundamentals that we all must learn, but typically I can have you playing a song your first lesson. As you progress, you will be able to learn to play songs on your own and interpret simple chord charts with melody.
For those students who already actively play, I can help hone your skills, offer performance, recording and studio tips and techniques.
90 and 120 min lessons are only offered to those students wishing to learn production and do NOT apply to piano lessons.
*** Studio Equipment *** Your lessons are given in my pre-production studio in my condo. Lessons take place on a digital piano either a Yamaha or a Casio Privia. If you are taking production classes, then see the list of gear below. My space is tidy but not always immaculate. I am a working musician and often have several projects juggling at once. There is room for 2 to 3 in addition to the student. My living room is always available and wi-fi for those who wait on a student is also available. More than ample parking is available at any time.
Buzz uses Cubase 7.5 recording software Sibelius 7 Notation Software Roland V-Synth Korg Triton Yamaha KX8 M-Audio Pro Keys 88 Casio Privia full array of VST instrument & effect plug-ins for commercial recording (Waves, Soectrasonics, Kontakt 5, etc)

I must say that Mr Daniel is doing a very good job. This was my third lesson, and he is not going through a set program but is teaching me where I'm at. So he is eliminating any waste time.
I will rate Mr. Daniel with 5 stars

Daniel has been outstanding the best instructor on the planet. When I resume in the future I know of know other instructor to work with.
Thank you for taking the time to view my profile- I look forward to helping you achieve your musical goals. I'm excited to announce that I'm now available to teach via Skype if you're outside of my teaching radius or are seeking a more convenient alternative.
I'm a professional guitarist with a background in jazz, heavy metal, blues, classical, and bossa nova. In 2006 I graduated from the Berklee College of Music and am lead guitarist for the Atlanta band Leaving Babylon.
Whether you are a beginning guitarist or a seasoned professional, I can expand and enhance your playing in any dire
ction you choose. I look forward to getting to know you as a student and learning about what course of study will bring out not only your understanding of music but a musical style that is unique to you.
Having a long time love of all music I have always enjoyed discussing music and educating others on its many aspects. As such I began teaching during summers home from Berklee and found that it was something I had a great deal of talent for. Now, with seven years of teaching experience behind me, I look forward to bringing my skills and insights to students of all ages and bring not only ability on the guitar but a greater love of music to a fresh crop of open minds!!
In addition to guitar, I am also qualified to teach voice, public speaking, dramatic acting, and all aspects of music theory, the latter of which I incorporate into all of my music lessons.
PLEASE NOTE: I am able to take students either in my home studio or at the student's residence. In both cases students who are under 18 years of age are required to have a parent or guardian present during all lessons. Additionally, please note I have two cats as well, in the event that allergies may be an issue.
*** Lesson Details *** Although I follow a specific lesson plan, its important to customize that to each student's skill level and specific needs. Thus, I will spend the first lesson evaluating where the student is in terms of overall musical awareness, existing skill on the instrument, and long term interest.
By the end of the first month, my beginning students will be able to perform basic chromatic and major scales, name the notes on the instrument, and have command of a few basic chords. With these core concepts and regular, committed practice, they will be able to learn and perform songs in a wide variety of styles after 3 to 6 months have passed.
My more advanced students will have a lesson plan customized to their specific goals and desires. In 3 to 6 months with such a student I will have them well on the path to accomplishing their long term goals, whether those be playing, composition, harmonic awareness, understanding of theory, or all of the above.
*** Studio Equipment *** dedicated music room; cables/amps; electric & acoustic guitars; keyboard
*** Travel Equipment *** Electric or acoustic guitar as needed.
*** Specialties *** Having graduated from the Berklee College of Music, I follow their approach in educating the student. In this regard I teach music theory along with the physical act of playing the guitar, which serves to not only enrich the experience for the student but demonstrate how what they are learning is applied to music on the whole.
I am fluent in many genres and specialize in rock, jazz, the blues, and various fusion genres. Because music functions off of the same principles regardless of genre, I can take whatever style the student might best appreciate and structure my lesson plan around it.

Great Instruction for all levels
I am in my mid-thirties and have never had any formal musical instruction until I started taking lessons with Jordan a few months ago. I was a little nervous about starting the lessons, but Jordan made me very comfortable right away. You definitely can tell he knows music inside and out. He is also very helpful about incorporating just enough music theory into each lesson, so I can expand my knowledge of theory, but not so much that I get overwhelmed. I would definitely recommend Jordan to anyone looking for a great vocal or guitar instructor.
TimothyM June 12, 2012
Jordan is an excellent instructor. I'm very pleased with the guidance that I have received thus far. With the limited amount of time spent in a 30min session, we always seem to cover a lot of ground. I would recommend lessons with him for any guitarist looking to take their guitar skills to the next level.

Jordan is very knowledgeable and professional. I am very pleased with his teaching style and making me comfortable learning to play.

Today was my first lesson and I was very apprehensive of my ability as well as the whole lesson experience. (because of my age) Kenneth, made me feel very comfortable and he made me feel that my voice could get even better with the techniques that he will teach me. I feel very positive about going forward with my lessons.

As a student/client of over 15 years, I have experienced the instructor to always be exceptional. He listens to his clients/students
and works to ensure that their needs are being met and that they are satisfied with the services they receive. Distance isn't a barrier and never has been one! Kenneth has been able to accommodate my recording and instructional needs while I've traveled all over the country! Having a dependable instructor/service provider has been the key to our long standing business relationship and I would recommend Kenneth to anyone needing the awesome services his company provides."

"I'm no drummer because anyone who knows music also knows that solid, professional drummers, such as Phil, are multifaceted and extremely talented people.
I have had the great honor to have Phil record drums for several of my tracks and I couldn't have been happier with his performances. I've always enjoyed hearing his final take because he has the ability to tap into any piece of music and bring it completely to life in a manner that any songwriter or recording artist will definitely appreciate. Phil is dedicated to making music the very best it can be. With that being said, while I've never been a drum student, I can only imagine the care and complete attention to detail this gifted individual would take in passing on the things he's learned to a future drummer. In a word, "Amazing!""

If you've ever stepped on stage to perform, you may not have thought much about the microphone you're about to use. But its history is actually pretty interesting, as music recording equipment has developed drastically since the first condenser microphone came on the market.
