Piano lessons with Jim are first and foremost fun. For the beginner, Jim gets the student playing easy songs right away and then progresses at the student's pace. As the student advances, Jim will introduce the student to easy classical, pop and new age piano music. For jazz enthusiasts, Jim teaches how to play jazz from a "fake book" and improvise. For rock and pop, Jim teaches how to learn songs from a CD where there is no sheet music. For advanced players, Jim can coach the student through the music of Bach, Beethoven and Mozart and prepare for a college auditions. Jim can also teach how MIDI and recording works and the student can even make a CD or MP3 of their own creation.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Dedicated music room is also a recording studio in my home. Digital piano (full-size, weighted keys, sustain pedal) synthesizers and recording equipment.

*** Travel Equipment ***

The very first lesson was awesome! My 5 yo was already excited to learn piano, but after her lesson she is even more psyched to go again! Lisa taught on her level, made it fun with age-appropriate games, and really tailored the lesson to my child. I don't remember piano lessons as a child being that fun. So far I highly recommend her!

About Rose

I graduated from the University of South Florida where I received my BA in Theatre performance & Communication with a minor in Dance. In 2011 I finished studying Music Recording at St. Petersburg College, where I focused on Singing/Songwriting. I trained at NYU with the Aquila acting company in classical theatre, and I also trained with TVI Acting studios in Los Angeles in Film and television.

My Music and Performance experience started when I was 6 singing in choir, school productions, and taking piano lessons. I continued on with group ensembles, musical theatre shows and later on
touring with the Spanish Lyric Theatre in Both English and Spanish in throughout Florida after college. I started working with various agencies in florida and became SAG eligible through working on a featured role as a dancer on the movie "From Justin to Kelly" filmed in Miami. Being part of the Actor's Studio at the University of South Florida created the foundation for me to then move to New York and study with the Aquila Classical Theatre company through NYU, Dance with the New Amsterdam Studio in am off-off Broadway dance production, and then move to LA to train with TVI Acting Studios. While In Los Angeles I signed with Avalon Artists Talent Agency and worked as an actress and model for various print jobs and commercials.

In 2007 I returned to Florida and spent the next few years working with various Talent Agencies on commercials, Industrials, print jobs, HSN projects, theatre shows, short films, and started to focus on Music, songwriting and recording. I returned to school and attended ST. Petersburg college MIRA Program (Music Industry Recording Arts) where I focused on Songwriting Performance and trained in voice, theory, songwriting, recording, and formed a duo called "The Rose and Zeb Duo." We Co-wrote together and recorded our first Demo Cd "Let Go" which was feature at the CD release event At the Yoga Village Studio in Clearwater, FL. We performed at local events throughout the area with our music.

Now I am continuing the process of Songwriting on my own for my next CD and developing other creative projects which I enjoy teaching others including art projects, cooking, baking, creating beauty products, and tutoring. I am quite diverse in the skills that I have obtained and I take a great interest in helping you as the artist develop your own style as well. I wish you luck in your journey!

He is an excellent teacher! Just because you play drums doesn't mean you can teach drums. My son has shown so much growth working with Glenn. He is truly a great teacher and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Christina and I were a good fit. I was reluctant to find a teacher on line, but she turned out to be a pleasant surprise. She's easy to work with, she's patient and her instructional explanations are a monumental plus. I think this will be a long lasting relationship....I highly recommend this young lady.

Christina is an excellent teacher. She is very detailed when
explaining how to play a song in the correct time signature.
I like the fact that she does not move forward until I have
learned where my problem areas are; for example timing.
I would highly recommend Christina as a piano teacher.
