Gabrielle has been teaching my son CJ for two years now and she is simply the best! Very patient, kind, and concerned that the student's love of music in not compromised by instilling confidence during each lesson. Thank you!

Good with children

Miss Gabby has been teaching my daughter piano for a few years, and she does so good with her. My daughter doesn't always have the best attention span, but Miss Gabby does well to redirect her and get her back on track. I absolutely recommend her for beginners and little ones. She has a very gentle and caring personality.

Xinlei C. Pittsburgh, PA

To me, song writing is a liberating, therapeutic, and organic method of expressing yourself through music. In these lessons, I will help the student discover what genres of music they enjoy, and will help them expand their knowledge of the characteristics of said genre. I will assist them in understanding form, harmony, and the basics of orchestration.

About Xinlei

I started taking music lessons when I was 7 years old. I have earned a bachelor's degree in music composition from the Tianjin Conservatory of Music in China, and a master's degree in music composition from Duquesne University. I have years of experience teaching voice, composition, ear training, and music theory in both private lessons and in classroom settings. I am very friendly and outgoing, and I'm very easy to work with.
