If you live on the Central Coast I can either perform Lessons at my Music studio or if you prefer in the privacy of your home. In the City of Highland I only do in home lesson and do cover and have students in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego County and again these are in the privacy of your home in these areas. Dawn S. Santa Maria, CA

About Dawn

I began to play the piano in 4th grade and immediately fell in love with it!  I continued with piano lessons through college. I have accompanied orchestras and singing groups and have been a church pianist for over 20 years.  For the last 14 years plus, I have enjoyed teaching students of all ages. Students will learn in a creative, relaxed atmosphere. I want each student to feel a sense of accomplishment every week and look forward to the next lesson. After just a few weeks, the beginning student will be playing some familiar songs and will know many musical terms. Within a couple months, they will be playing with both hands and moving their hands to different positions on the keyboard. I am able to teach lessons from my pet-free home or yours. Student must have a ...

Oren S. Santa Maria, CA

About Oren

I completed a BA in Music along with a BA in Psychology at Marylhurst University in 2009 after professional experience as a multi-instrumentalist in performance, instruction, and personal study. I taught myself the basics of keyboard, guitar, and hand-percussion as a teenager. The next serious pursuit was hand-percussion in West-African and Afro-Cuban traditions, playing with performance ensembles and dance-troupes. This gave my musical world a firm foundation in the domain of rhythm. My experience with flute began on bamboo instruments mimicking the sounds I heard in nature. I went on to study silver flute in both jazz & classical traditions leading to the completion of my music degree at Marylhurst where I had the opportunity to nurture both pursuits, honing in on the repertoires of

Oren has been a great teacher for our 13 year old daughter. He is very patient and reassuring and provides training based on the individual. I would highly recommend Oren to anyone looking to learn music.
Nick G. Nipomo, CA

About Nick

Hi, guys! My name is Nick. I'm 29 and just moved down from San Francisco to be closer to family and friends while pursuing my career. I've had 20 years experience of playing guitar in different capacities - from playing for myself to playing in a band for fun or for money to recording at home or in a studio. Gathering what knowledge I have over the years, I feel that now I could help aid others in their own progressive learning. Learning guitar or conquering it's challenges is a skill in and of itself, I believe. You can learn how to learn to play guitar more efficiently; and I believe I can help most guitarists learn that skill. So if you're having trouble with your timing, fingering, stringing, strumming, licking, adjusting, transcriptions, modulations, compositions, etc. ...
