I played trombone in high school when the sax music got a little boring.
My fondest memory was getting to play 76 trombones at a WVU game, circa 1977.
The Trombone happens to be my primary instrument. Playing any brass instrument involves many techniques and music values. I teach all these values as well as a love for instrument.
I began playing trombone in high school, in parallel with my euphonium studies and have now been playing for about 8 years. I know my way around the horn very well, have played excellent repertoire, most recently in a jazz big band, and most importantly, I understand the differences between the trombone and euphonium and how to compensate on each instrument to produce the best results in either case.
