I recently received my Master’s in Music Performance from the University of Delaware, where I had a graduate assistantship. While at UD, I volunteered regularly at the El Sistema-inspired after-school music program Play On, Philly. I received my Bachelor’s in Music Performance with a minor in Music Theory from the world-renowned University of North Texas. While at North Texas, I was the horn instructor for Celina I.S.D. where I taught private lessons to the horn students. I was also a Supplemental Instructor for Music Theory II while at UNT. As an SI, I led three weekly sessions that involved group activities for the students in order to enhance their knowledge and understanding of music theory. I am not sure what first interested me in classical music, but as far back as I can ...
I teach beginner trumpet. I can help students learn to read music, play with good tone and technique, learn valve combinations (fingerings), and play from a book or school band music.

I've been studying trumpet for 15 years, and I'm eager to work with students of all ages. I will give students a firm foundation in trumpet fundamentals, while also focusing on what the student would like to learn. I specialize in jazz and contemporary music, though I am also trained in classical music.
Hi! My name is Dustin. I've been teaching private lessons since 2010 and have loved helping my students develop a talent and love for music. I went to West Virginia Wesleyan College and earned a degree in Music in 2012. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
I've been teaching trumpet for 5 years and I love it. I strive to make students as comfortable and prepared as they can possibly be on trumpet. I put a strong emphasis on the core fundamentals of trumpet playing so that you can learn it right the first time (and not have to change how you play like many of us have to do later on.) I like to incorporate sight reading to slowly make it easier, etudes, solos, and duets. This varies from student to student as no one learns the same way!
Hi! My name is Gabrielle and I've been playing trumpet for a little over 14 years. I've been studying music and theory for about 6 years, and piano just 4. I've had several years of jazz training, but I mostly play and teach classical music although I am able to teach any jazz lovers out there! I adore teaching and working with students. I've taught for Temple University Prep School, I've gone to several summer music festivals and I attended the Juilliard Pre-College and competed internationally and nationally in several divisions.
