"As a multi-credited actor, I have worked with Connie Lamothe both as an actor and as someone she has directed on numerous occasions . Connie has superb co
mmunications skills and is particularly gifted in working with young talent ... she has that special way of connecting, advising and inspiring that comes along rarely in today's World. Connie is the "real" thing and has the credits, awards and reputation that go with being a seasoned professional that support her teaching goals. I would recommend Connie to anyone wanting to become better in their craft."

"Corbin is a dedicated professional who has the ability to bring out the best in people. His lesson techniques are among the best we have encountered on ou
r journey to educate the young mind of my daughter in the ways of acting. We were practically impressed in the way he approached and inspired my daughter through his teachings. The real world lessons where he puts my daughter on camera and points out subtle variations in her approach to acting is a valuable technique that my daughter has adapted to well and will enhance her ability to secure acting roles more readily. Because of his dedication and superior teaching techniques we have signed up for additional lessons.Thank You..."

Actors - Singers My job is to work with you to realize your dream as an actor or music artist. Actors, we will work on monologues, scenes and cold readings and technique to grow your craft. Singers
and Artists, bring your instruments. Don't have one? I do! I am a Critic's Circle Award Winning Actor and Singer, Published Songwriter and Recording Artist, trained in New York City and at Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and Los Angeles. I have been lucky to work with some incredible people and you will be one of them! If you're looking for a coach to work with from the ground up or looking for an advanced acting or singing performance coach, let’s talk. I am a member of Sag-Aftra and Actors Equity Association. If you don’t have access to a teacher where you live, you absolutely can study effectively online. You deserve to study acting or music performance and you deserve a place in my studio. Auditioning for colleges or agents, planning your move to Los Angeles or NYC or working where you are and need to start studying and to begin in the business or need audition help in a hurry? Let's get to work. I'll not only collaborate with you to stretch your acting chops but I'll also help you understand the industry and how you fit in to it. We will work on audition prep, monologues, scenes, singing performance and we will find out who you are and how you show up in the biz. I am generous with what I know. I care about you, the artist. See my bio below. For Parents of Minors: I'm available to help you understand this somewhat confusing industry. I was a young actor/performer in the industry myself.
More about Kathryn I studied at Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music (CCM). In New York City I was under the care of opera teacher, Leona Matthews, famed acting teacher and director, Word Baker and Edward Morehouse as a student at HB Studio in NYC and Mark Monroe in San Francisco and Los Angeles. I have my own writing doc, the revered Dr. Joyce Block. I work as a recording artist and writer. And I’m lucky to work as a concert artist, too. I began teaching in the early 90's in San Francisco with Mark Monroe, after co founding Mark Monroe Studios. MM Studios began originally in 1987 when I and Mr. Monroe packed their studio, by word of mouth, and when the studio totaled six hundred and fifty actors; they added a studio in Los Angeles. I have been coaching actors and musicians and developing artists ever since. Extended bio upon request. My background in acting and singing performance comes from the Method. After graduating California Institute of the Arts with a multi-focus on several aspects of music including African dance, Indonesian gamelan, songwriting, recording, classical voice and piano, folk gu
itar, and more, Liz had the excellent opportunity to teach theater to a local musical theater summer youth program. All summer, she taught class sizes ranging from 10 to 26 students of the ages 5-10. Her initiative later led to being hired at this local community theater. Along with this theater teaching experience, she has been teaching piano, guitar, ukulele, flute & voice lessons for over 10 years. Her students have gone from knowing nothing about music to learning and performing entire pieces on their own as well as even auditioning & for agents and becoming signed artists in Los Angeles. Liz knows that it is her place in the world to teach music & spread positivity through her own music and would love nothing more than make learning music a positive and fun experience for everyone.
*** Lesson Details *** I teach out of the Alfred's Piano course, but am open to trying out any music books you may already have in your home. I do expect my students to purchase the books they would like to learn out of and to have the material I have given them for homework ready, completed, and practiced by the time we have our weekly lesson. I recommend at least twenty to thirty minutes of practice every day, and will give rewards for having practiced well, and for performing well in our lessons. I would love it for my students to be clear on what they would like to learn, and I love using songs that the student enjoys to make his or her music learning process fun.
*** Studio Equipment *** In my home studio, I have a full size Cable-Nelson upright piano, as well as two ukuleles, and two guitars (one acoustic-electric and one electric).
*** Travel Equipment *** When I travel, I bring my own instrument that the student is learning on so that I can demonstrate, as well as a music stand if necessary.
I've been a professional musician for many years in the classical singing world. I love all kinds of music and have been teaching for over ten years. I'm known for being very kind and supportive. I ha
ve two degrees in Music, one from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, England. I've been active on classical choral and early music recordings and therefore I get to vote in the GRAMMYs ... my high school students usually help me to consider the Best New Artist category although I have strong opinions of my own because I love pop music too! I teach beginning piano, and all levels of singing. I've raised two great kids of my own and am married to another professional musician. I love helping people to bring more music into their lives!
