"I've been taking classes with Mia for a year now, and she has been the best teacher anyone could ever dream of. I was terrified of trying acting for the f
irst time, I thought because I was starting off late in the game I may be judged, or criticized, but as soon as Mia greeted me she made me feel as though I was immediately family. She is supportive, encouraging, and will give 110% at training you for any type of acting you wish to pursue! She even met with me for multiple classes per week before big auditions. I can proudly say I am now accepted and will be attending my first choice conservatory for a BFA in Contemporary Theater! Mia has the warmest, most beautiful heart of gold that I've ever seen. Thank you for absolutely everything you've done for me, Mia. I can't wait until you can see me in my shows!"

"I have had the pleasure of experiencing Andrew's work with special needs individuals and can attest that he has patience and the skills necessary to teach
anybody the wealth of knowledge that he has. He is a very generous, patient, and wholesome individual who appears to live for music. He has a very good voice and great skill with the piano.
I have also experienced one of Andrews recital's. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was one of the impressive performances that I have seen in a long time. They had so much attention to detail that everyone even received a golden ticket! I wish my music lessons were was exciting and fun as Andrews."
My name is Milton Carl Jackson II and I teach vocal, guitar, piano, and musical theatre lessons in the Inland Empire area.
I help those young, middle-aged, and not-as-young tap into their own soul through music so that they may help others find theirs as well. I believe that in order to entertain others with your voice or your instrument, one must first be able to entertain oneself - all the while having fun doing it! As a recent graduate of the University of California, Davis with a double major in Music History & Ethnomusicology and African-American & African Stud
ies; a former co-host of the popular hip-hop radio show ATF Radio: All Things Fresh on KDVS 90.3 FM; a former Music Director of The Afterglow of UC Davis; and a recently graduate of the University of Redlands with a Master's in Music Education, I have come in contact and learned from a vast amount of different musicians and professionals. A classically-trained bass-baritone with roots in R&B, Soul, Rock, Pop, and Jazz, I have aspirations to help each and every student realize their full musical potential.
If you're looking for a teacher who will motivate and inspire you not only to learn your instrument of choice, but also how to perform it (whether on the big stage or in your living room for the family) and record it as well, I'm the perfect teacher for you. Learning to sing, play, and act beautifully doesn't have to be difficult -- we'll work on finding your voice or your style, all while having fun along the way!
I teach in-studio, in-home, and online lessons, so we can be flexible with the lesson type and schedule!
This is a perfect chance for you or your child who can't stop singing around the house or has dreams of shredding on the guitar or twinkling on the ivories to learn the fundamentals of music, start something new that keeps them or you focused, and have fun while doing it!
Feel free to contact me at show contact info for any questions and check out my student reviews and qualifications.
I look forward to meeting you and accompanying you or your child on your musical journey!!

Extremely polite, informative and intelligent! Will be taking consecutive lessons. I learned so much about strengthening my voice and pitch in just one lesson.
I started singing professionally at the age of fourteen. I have had leading roles in semi-professional theatre productions since I was seventeen. I have also been assistant director, musical director, choreographer, costumer and writer for many productions from West Side Story to My Fair Lady to Camelot. In the theatre I have worked with and trained children and adults of all ages. I have also conducted summer camps that were theatre workshops for children. I was a school teacher at a Charter school for eight years and I taught music and drama to children from Kindergarten to 12th grade.
I have been giving voice lessons for more than twenty years. I tailor my programs based on the needs of my students. I am passionate about music and I love being able to share that with other individuals who are passionate about music. I have worked with children and adults who told me "I cannot sing" and have shown them that, once you understand how your voice works, you can do things you never dreamed you could do. I will work hard to help anyone who has the love and determination to sing to improve and become a better singer.
One of my students was accepted to AMDA in New York and several of my students have won various competitions.
*** Lesson Details *** The voice is an instrument and, like any instrument, you have to know all of its parts and how it works in order to get the most out of it. I teach my students how to properly use their voice without damaging their vocal chords. I teach vocal techniques and exercises to help my students become a better singer. My students will learn how to use their diaphragm; how to use dynamics; how to project; how to build up their lung capacity; how to sing in a clear and articulate manner; how to sing various different types of music; how to control their voice; and how to develop their natural ear for music as well as showmanship. My style and technique has been developed over many years of practical experience and learning from instructors and entertainers who work in the entertainment industry. My method of teaching is entirely my own and I have had a lot of success with it. I expect my students to work hard and be dedicated but I try to make the lessons not just instructional but fun.
*** Studio Equipment *** Home-lessons taught in a designated music room, has an electric weighted keyboard and a karaoke machine.
*** Specialties *** I teach my students breathing techniques; how to use the diaphragm and relax the vocal chords; how to project; how to properly enunciate; how to perform a song instead of just singing it; showmanship; how to select the music that is right for them. The voice is an instrument and, like any instrument, you have to fully understand it and its different parts in order to get the most out of it.
In regards to the various hand-crafting arts that I teach. I have been hand-crafting for more than forty years. I first discovered my love for creating things when I was only six years old, which is when I first began to learn embroidery. That just made me want to learn even more and I am always looking for some new and interesting art to learn and master. I have been a costumer for more than thirty years, creating costumes for community theatre and making period costumes for events such as the Renaissance Faire and Civil and Revolutionary War Re-enactments.
One of my new passions is Recycled Crafts. Taking items that you might throw away and turning them into something useful. For example, I had a pile of sheets that we didn't use any longer. Instead of throwing them away, I made them into rag rugs. Another of my favorite recycle crafts is taking the plastic bags that you get your groceries in and making them into re-usable totes that are washable.
Needle tatting is a form of lace making. Taking string and creating some beautiful lace that allows you to add old world charm to a garment or project. One of the things that I like about this hand-craft is being able to easily take it with me (to doctor's appointments for example) so that I can have something to do while I wait.
As you can probably tell, these are things that I am passionate about and I love teaching them to anyone who wants to learn.

Tina is amazing. So skilled, knowledgeable and patient. My daughter was nervous about the lessons and she had her call her personally so she could speak with her. I am so happy to have her teaching my daughter.

Thank you for your interest in lessons! I hope to help you achieve your goals and improve your skills, whether you're looking for music lessons, help in math, or need someone to proofread your essay before you turn it in. Every student is a unique person who deserves a lesson customized to their individual needs. Each of my students prospers in an atmosphere of patience and encouragement. While the lessons are fun and enjoyable, the serious student will be supported in the development of skills leading to a rewarding career, and the more casual students will grow in an appreciation of knowled
ge that will always enrich their lives.
I have been tutoring and teaching private lessons for over five years, and currently have over 40 active students. I received my bachelor's degree in music with an emphasis on vocal performance at the University of Redlands in 2011, and my Associate of Arts degree in 2008 from College of the Desert. Currently I teach online, locally, and at my studio, and cover a variety of subjects such as voice, music, theater, piano, math, english, music theory, just to name a few.
For academic tutoring (i.e. math, theory, vocabulary) I work on helping the student understand their homework and help prepare them for tests. I can also provide worksheets if necessary and am prepared to demonstrate problem areas in different ways if needed, because everyone learns differently. For voice, piano, music, and acting lessons I teach the student based on what their current level is. If you have no experience, that's okay! My lessons are uniquely designed to fit your needs no matter what level you may be.
As a music major I developed a deeper understanding of music theory, piano, voice, and theater. I received my A.A. in Music at College of the Desert and my Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Redlands- which I attended on a music scholarship. I have played leading roles in several operas and musicals in Southern California, including Gianni Schicchi, Die Fledermaus, La Boheme (DTL nominee), The Impresario, The Grand Duke, Patience (DTL award), Cosi fan tutte, Little Women, Seussical, and many more. I have also appeared in several concerts, opera scenes, competitions (winning music scholarships and theater awards), and worked as a singer in churches, restaurants, and in pop bands. I continue to stay active in the performance industry, because performing is a part of who I am and I could never live without it!
With this experience under my belt, I feel a desire to pass on my knowledge to students. I carry a strong passion to help people develop their abilities and make them their own. I truly believe that if someone wants something out of life they will achieve it with dedication, perseverance, confidence, and by having fun doing it!
*Note: My home office has a lot of stairs and also two cats that live with me. If you are disabled or have a feline allergy, please consider in-home lessons or lessons online.

Dance has played a strong role in my life for 30+ years. I am a professional dancer/choreographer. I love teaching both children and adults who have no rhythm at all but with a heart to dance, to dancers who are professionally trained. I enjoy bringing out of them laughter at themselves when they make a mistake, but instal in them when to take it seriously.
I bring very strong, professional and confident choreography to both all ages and levels of a dancer from beginners to advance. I have been working and teaching youth from ages 4 to adult for over 17 years. I additionally have training i
n tap, jazz, ballet, modern, african, lyrical, cheer tumbling, and competitive Hip Hop/Break choreography. I am as well a self motivator and a self discipline woman. It doesn’t stop there. I am a good candidate for a long term teacher and dancer with so much loyalty and patience for students.
If you need choreography with formal events, such as weddings, bday parties, quinceaneras etc I'm your girl! I have a blast working those events.

Nadia is by far the best dance instructor my daughter has ever had. Nadia has a great deal of knowledge and she cares about helping her students improve as dancers. She teaches them to have confidence and regardless of their current skills, she gives her students the tools they need to excel in dancing. I highly recommend her.

I have been searching for a way to do yoga without aggravating my herniated disc but for years ever session ended up in some sort of discomfort. Doing Ying Yoga with David has been by far the most comfortable and spiritually relaxing session i have ever had. It is a pleasure to work with him.

4 Fundamental Tap Dance Steps for Beginners
Good dancers can make even the most complicated, strenuous techniques look effortless and fluid. If you've ever watched an experienced dancer perform a tap routine, you probably watched in disbelief as their feet turned into a blur of movement that seemed to move independently from the rest of their body. Sometimes the sound effects are even more impressive; when done well, tap dance is a musical art form that creates its own rhythm.
Do you want to train your own feet to create this unique mixt
