"I met Marcus while preparing for a callback a few months ago and have met with him regularly every since. His passion for acting is so evident by his thor

Marcus truly has a well-rounded teaching approach and cares that his students learn. He has been an invaluable resource!"

I specialize in tap and thoroughly enjoy enriching others lives with the art of dance. I graduated with Honors while majoring in Dance and Choreography at the University of California, Riverside with a Chancellor’s Performance Scholarship in Dance. I toured for two years, traveling around the United States, with the live stage shows “Sesame Street Live,” and “Dragon Tales Live” under VEE Corporation. I am also a member of the Taiko Center of Los Angeles, a Japanese drumming ensemble. And with TCLA, I have united tap and taiko at such venues as the Hollywood Bowl, Ford Theatre, and the Japan
American Theatre. Some of my film and television credits include: “187” starring Samuel L. Jackson, “Gilmore Girls,” “Seventh Heaven,” and the “O.C.” In addition, I am pursuing the art of teaching dance and have been teaching since the age of 15 at various institutions such as, the University of Redlands, Riverside Community College, Jane Addams Middle School in Lawndale, Room to Dance in Riverside and Claremont College among others. I am currently teaching at Santa Clarita Ballet Academy, Village Dance Arts in Claremont, The Academy of Music and Movement in La Verne, as well as out of my home dance studio.

It's such a blessing and a wonderful experience to be a student of hers. I absolutely love the challenges she gives us, the close individual attention she displays to each student, and choreography. She is truly amazing.
My name is Tyrone and growing up, I was never good at a lot of things. However, one day, I asked my father to teach me how to play basketball and within a couple of days, I was one of the best basketball players in my neighborhood. This taught me that as long as I worked hard and practiced at something, I could be good at it. This is how I learned to be proficient in many different talents.
Here are the skills that I've learned over the years and am willing to teach you if you wish to learn them:
* Photography Lessons: You will learn about how cameras work, various lighting technique
s to get the perfect shot, themed photo shoots, event photography, portrait photography, studio vs. on location photography, etc.
* Basketball Lessons: You will learn the fundamentals of how to play basketball, as well as skills that help you become a skillful basketball athlete such as dribbling, shooting, passing, defense and fitness.
* Rap Music Lessons: You will learn the writing skills of a rap artist, which will include poetry techniques, knowledge of hip hop music and history, various terms regarding the structure of a rap song, as well as how to perform a rap song, either on stage or in a studio.
* Magic Lessons: You will learn various techniques on how to perform magic tricks and most importantly, how to create your own. I specialize in card magic, but can also teach you other skills with more items.
* Poetry Lessons: You will learn how to write poetry using various poetry techniques and studying some of the most well known poets in history. You will also learn how to perform these poems and the rhythm in which way would be best to deliver your overall poetic message.

He is an amazing trainer. I'm happy that I have him to help me.
I graduated from California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) with a B.A. in Public Administration (what does that have to do with the Flamenco guitar?); prior to that degree, I received an A.A. in Political Science (again, what does that have to do with Flamenco guitar?). Currently I am in the process of completing my M.P.A. at CSUF (again…?). The answer to the aforementioned question is that, I enjoy politics and government work—it’s my profession. Nonetheless, I enjoy Flamenco most of all, and I want you to enjoy it too! ¡Vamonos!
The guitar is a wonderful ins
trument, which I began playing at the age of six. I began my studies with the classical guitar for the first 15 years of playing; and for these past 15 years I have studied the flamenco guitar—playing various concerts, events, and giving professional instruction.
My experience as a guitarist in Southern California has led me to explore different genres of music, playing for various musical groups ranging from surf rock, concert band, and jazz. As a co-founding member of the band, Ballistico, we opened up for acts such as Dick Dale and the Del Tones, the Grandmothers of Invention (featuring members of Frank Zappa’s original band, “Mothers of Invention”), Avenged Sevenfold, and many others.
Having received first hand instruction from the some of the most sough-after professional Flamenco guitarists living and working in Spain (and touring internationally), I offer each of my students an unrivaled degree of authenticity in technique, tone, and style.
Each lesson includes tablature and audio recordings of the material that we will have gone over together. It is completely normal that only a day or two after a lesson—or even a few hours afterwards—the mind can (and will) quickly forget the material. Don’t worry! I’ve got you covered. By having the accompanying written and audio material with you after each lesson, you will be well-prepared for a successful next lesson!

Mr. Stubbs is an excellent musician and teacher. He has a wide range of musical ability from electric blues to classical guitar, and especially flamenco guitar. His approach of flamenco and his performance is masterful.
One would think that the discipline required to attain Ben''s level of ability would cause a person to get "stuffy" and dry . But a keen sense of humor, a quick wit and humility make time spent with Ben a pleasuraable learning experience.

Ben has been extremely patient with me & has helped me take my guitar playing to the next level. He's a great teacher & I'd highly recommend him to anyone!
I am Jatara Newell, a native from Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. I'm a daughter to two wonderful parents and a sister to a younger brother and older sister. My dance career wouldn't be as blessed as it is without my family. I have been dancing consistently for 12 years and teaching for 6 years. My training first began at the church I attend (Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Ontario, Ca) where I learned liturgical/ praise dance. Through that experience I've grown closer to God and learned how to express what he's done for me through several elements of performing arts such as drama, stage presence and of cou
rse movement! I've also trained under numerous dance teachers from Colony High School, Los Osos High School, Riverside Community College, and Cal State San Bernardino. I have an AA in Fine Arts, working towards Bachelors and Masters degree in dance. My experience in dance includes but not limited to; Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, African, Bollywoord, Modern, Contemporary, Liturgical, and Lyrical.

5 Acting Warm-Ups & Games to Do Before an Audition
Being in the entertainment industry is not much different from being in the sports world. In addition to some natural talent and interest, a huge overlap with both industries is the time spent honing your craft. Of course regular practice is a necessary evil, but come race or audition day, our minds and bodies still need to be prepared for whats about to happen. Just as we see athletes spending time stretching and warming up before a performance, its mandatory that actors warm up before audi
Contemporary Dance for Beginners: What Do You Need to Know?
Contemporary dance. Youve probably seen it on famous dance television shows like So You Think You Can Dance or Dancing with the Stars, but do you actually know what contemporary dance is? With roots in several different styles of dance, like ballet, hip hop, and modern dance, contemporary dance emerged in the mid-1900s and quickly became one of the most popular dance styles in the Western world. If you are interested in any kind of dance, studying contemporary dance for beginners is a great wa
4 Fundamental Tap Dance Steps for Beginners
Good dancers can make even the most complicated, strenuous techniques look effortless and fluid. If you've ever watched an experienced dancer perform a tap routine, you probably watched in disbelief as their feet turned into a blur of movement that seemed to move independently from the rest of their body. Sometimes the sound effects are even more impressive; when done well, tap dance is a musical art form that creates its own rhythm.
Do you want to train your own feet to create this unique mixt
