I started my piano class with Mr. Allen last year. I had no music background and knew not much piano. Mr. Allen allows me to use my Faber piano adult adventure book, and also have me use other book and tools for my study. He is very knowledgeable, patient and fun to learn from. I have made progress since then.

Brad is very knowledgeable. Very impressed. Being nervous he helped me to relax some. Can't wait to get back next week. I think I am going to enjoy learning to sing with Brad.

I have taken banjo and guitar lessons from Matt for a few years. He's a wonderful teacher who focuses on giving students the tools they need to grow into better musicians. Matt tends to focus on precision and technique during lessons in order to help develop skills and musicianship. I've been taking music lessons my whole life, but he is the first instructor who actually taught me how to practice!

I studied bluegrass music with Matt for four years at Denison University under two premiere bluegrass instructors, Casey Cook and Andy Carlson. I am confident he would be a great teacher considering his background, passion and performance ability on both the banjo and guitar.

Travis S.

Columbus, OH

About Travis

Hello! I am offering my services as a music teacher. I have been playing guitar and piano since I was 10 years old (and I'm 26 now!). I was classically trained for over 10 years, until finally decided to cease private lessons and begin my music production and composing career.

I currently have multiple original compositions online with anywhere between 20,000 plays to over 1 million on youtube and other music hosting websites. My expertise lies in virtual instrumentation.

I can offer traditional music lessons in Piano and Guitar or, a more unique approach that would involve recording, pr
oduction, mastering techniques, virtual and digital audio and more.

I work well with children and youth. I work for the State of Ohio as a counselor for youth with disabilities. I have a masters degree in professional counseling.

If you have any questions about what I can offer, don't hesitate to contact me!!
Thanks for reading!

Travis is very talented and also very patient! My daughter loves him because he's kind and he doesn't get angry when she doesn't get it. He laughs with her and they just keep trying. He's the best teacher we've ever had (we've tried three). We'll be sticking with Travis!
