Calculus Lessons in Wyalusing. Amazing Teachers.

I am an MIT tutor specializing in math and science, and I have taught math anywhere between pre-algebra and calculus (including algebra) for 5 years. I have taken AP Calculus BC while in high school, and I have taken Multivariable Calculus and Differential Equations at MIT, and I actively participated in many math competitions through elementary, middle, and high schools.

Before the lessons, I like to talk with parents, students, and/or teachers to fully gauge what they have been struggling with and how to best help them. Then I identify the student's gap in knowledge while helping them complete their homework and give them additional drilling problems as needed to help them fully master the materials and do well on their tests. I always carry around AP Calculus prep books or college calculus practice problems (depending on the students' levels) so that the students can practice these problems as needed. I also provide them with additional resources and practice problems as needed.

I use the simplest way to teach and very interactive manner, so it make the subject more interesting and easiest to understand.

I can make a hard or boring subject easy and enjoyable to learn. My priority is student success - I work to make it happen. My ability comes from extensive experience, a history of student success, and personal achievement in the subject.

Includes both differential and integral calculus, as well as supplemental studies tangential to the subject matter.

He has always used proven educational techniques to instruct undergraduate students, graduate students and school children/teenagers (K-12). In addition, Dr. Cliff is a Certified Tutor by American Tutoring Association and National Tutoring Association (Math); he holds California Teaching Credentials in Math (CSET I,II,III), Business (I,II,III), and Educational Technology/Computers (I,II); he is a Sylvan Certified Teacher in Math and Arts/Language K-12.
