I love that the Arabic language is built up on emotions and is poetic. Through my work as an actress I have to use perfect language as well as perfect skills in delivering the language. Actors in Syria need to have very good Arabic, especially Fusha. Being an Arabic native speaker doesn’t mean that your Fusha is good. My Fusha is good because I’ve always loved reading both novels and poetry, and because I used to write in Arabic newspapers, and beside all of these things, I had the chance to practice my Fusha through my work as an actress.
I started tutoring Arabic four years ago. I teach both Fusha and Syrian dialect for children and adults. Through the years I’ve worked on making my lessons full of fun and energy.
