Thomas is honestly an amazing musician and teacher. He was really patient with me. Despite having to deal with major timezone differences (as I live in Myanmar), he took the time to figure it out. Also, he helped me figure out the stuff it took me months to figure out. He also really knows what he's doing. I learned so much in that hour of practice. 10/10 would recommend him.

Chris is a fantastic instructor! Not only did he work with our son to teach him the basics (as someone new to an instrument having never played before), he also motivated him and took a genuine interest in his progress. He does a fantastic job and is a skilled instructor!... and did it all on-line due to COVID and overcame that obstacle too!

Chris has been great with my middle school band student teaching/coaching the fundamentals and making trumpet fun again. My kiddo looked forward to his weekly lessons and enjoys band again! His confidence level while playing has soared. Definitely recommend.

Chris is kind and patient. He is not a French horn player, but is able to teach the basic components. He discusses the form of playing a lot. My daughter has enjoyed learning from him.

Talented teachers are rare. Like a great coach i sports... the coach doesn’t need to be the top athlete in his field to know how to teach each team member to hone their best abilities, he just has to know and see how to teach you how to get there. Being an outstanding teacher is a great talent all in itself... and that is Jesse. He has that quality and ability to lead, focus and take you where you want to go.
Romy R.
Jesse has given directions on how to successfully become a better musician. His approach and explanation on musical theories was much more understandable than what I was previously reading. Overall, I found the lessons to be very usefull.

We have been so glad that we tried TakeLessons and found Bill! He has done a great job engaging my 12 year old daughter. He assessed her skill level and got to work. He encourages her and through his lessons she has noticeably improved on the tuba. Also his communication has been excellent and as a busy mom, that is important!
Matt
My son thought he was very nice and we noticed an improvement after his first lesson.

Gallo does a great job of knowing how to assess your playing, and give clear and encouraging feedback on how to get better. He certainly taken my trumpet playing and teaching to the next level!
Emelye
Our son has been studying with Mr Gallo for several months, and he has been showing great improvements, in such a short amount of time, in both the school band and at home. Mr Gallo is kind, patient, and encouraging. Our son immediately felt comfortable with him, and looks forward to his lessons. Mr Gallo is accommodating and understanding if we ever need to reschedule. Even when we are eventually given the opportunity to begin in person lessons with a teacher whose is near our home, we would like to continue with Mr Gallo. We can’t imagine our son being taught by anyone else! We highly recommend him as a teacher, he is simply wonderful!

"My son started with Mr. Gallo at the beginning of summer and we have decided to continue into the school year. He can easily read each students musical ability and creates a lesson plan accordingly. His critiques, while kindly, are thorough as he strives to get the best out of students.
My son enjoys the lessons and has improved in sound quality and technique. Web based lessons have worked out great for us as my son plays the tuba. Mr. Gallo has been flexible with the schedule which we appreciate. We highly recommend Mr. Gallo and the Take Lessons website/platform."

They have really enjoyed learning from someone whose specialty is brass and have been motivated to practice on their own. Highly recommend!"
