Joseph was able to instruct me on jazz music which was new to me. He was very patient in getting me to play chords that I never did before and to do progressions up and down the neck of the guitar. He made it seem easy after a while, even though it was tough to grasp at first. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to play the guitar!

Guitar is my main instrument, I've spent thousands of hours playing and teaching. I can show you how to do pretty much anything you want to do or learn on guitar.

About Scott
Hi! I'm Scott. I perform with a one-man band setup I created which utilizes a modified guitar and home-made foot pedals to control a drum set, while I sing on top of it all. I have a recording studio at home, and have performed with bands as a singer, guitarist, saxophonist, bassist, percussionist, and as a sound engineer. I've written, performed and recorded my own album which made it to the 2nd round of the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, and was a voting member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Grammy Committee and NARAS (National Association or the Recording Arts and Sciences.) I started piano lessons from age 5 and just kept picking up more instruments and gear as I got older and never stopped learning or enjoying it!

*** Lesson Details ***
I have been teaching Guitars, Basses, Percussion, Piano, Saxophone, Music Production, Re
cording, and Live Sound for 16 years.

I can teach you note-reading, tabs, ear training, music theory, composition, improvisation in just about any style of music.

Working with people writing songs is something I enjoy thoroughly; I can help you write and record your own songs. A computer and internet access are preferred to take full advantage of the technology for learning and producing music.

Knowledgeable in Instrument repair, set-up, and maintenance, I can help you fix it, and how to spot a good instrument.

Patient and experienced, with a broad knowledge of music in most areas, I can give you hundreds of good references from previous students I've taught over the years

*** Studio Equipment ***

Guitars, basses, percussion and drum sets, a piano, saxophones, hand drums, a 20-track digital recording studio with monitors that are equalized to the room's acoustics for accurate listening and mixing, plus an assortment of microphones, amps, mic stands, cables, and connectors.

About Adam
I have been passionate about music all of my life. I have been teaching guitar and piano for 10 years. I'm a doctoral student at Chestnut Hill College pursuing a degree in clinical psychology with plans to become a music therapist. I learned guitar and classical piano under 2 private teachers while pursuing my Psychology degree and music minor at Rutgers University in NJ.

Music was a way for me to find peace, structure, confidence, and an outlet for personal expression and creativity outside of my everyday life. I've grown as a person and a musician through music. I get excited when I see my students learn enjoy playing something new. I love music more than anything else and that love is something I try to bring out in my students. Once there is love for music, everything grows naturally. I teach to help my students find those streng
ths in themselves to live a fulfilling life through their instrument.

I didn't really know what to expect from songwriting lessons but Adam is very flexible with his teaching, knowledgeable, and responsive. He gives you the tools you need to pursue any path you choose and to feel good about what you're achieving. Adam is very nonjudgmental and just loves music. Thanks to him I've come very far in a short amount of time.

He has really made the whole learning experience rewarding and enjoyable for the kids. It is apparent that they have been growing as guitarists. Adam is highly recommended as an instructor.

I guarantee a solid understanding of basic music theory that will teach you to quickly learn songs, chords, and the foundation of writing music.

About Shayla
I am a vocalist, songwriter, and musician with experience in music production. For the past two years I have been growing a YouTube following posting original classic rock covers. Currently I am connecting to other local artists to form a band. I teach guitar because it is my passion and I would love to help anyone ready to perfect the craft.

I teach lessons by first learning basic music theory that applies to guitar so students can then use that knowledge to really understand how chords are formed and what the neck of a guitar really means. I believe through this method students can use this knowledge to venture further into melodies and how music is formed. After this basic understanding we learn simple to intermediate songs based on progress.

I teach pop, indie rock, metal, hard rock, classic rock, alternative, and r&b.

About Ryan
Greetings, my name is Ryan James Bradley. I've been playing and singing music my whole life. I'm primarily known in the Lehigh Valley as a jazz guitarist and singer. I got my start playing piano and drums at age 3, and led various rock acts from middle school onward and also began solo preformances as a singer songwriter in my teens. Music theory/composition in both classical and jazz, as well improvisation and music notation, are particular areas of expertise. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you accomplish your musical goals in a variety of ways that are simple and fun.

Understanding basic theory, modes, intervals, key-signatures, etc. allows you to communicate with other players. These skills will make you a more confident player and better composer. I'll go over why things work the way they do and promote an understanding of the instrument --rather than tedious mnemonics and memorizing for the sake of memorizing.

I play several instruments and have an affinity for avant-garde music or genre hybrids. Heavy music is especially fun for the integration of styles. I am also versed in Jazz and playing from a Fake Book.

About Robert

Know what you are playing, why you are playing it, what works and what doesn't work. Military-style drills of musical theory and aptitude circa Home Movie's "Guitarmageddon" episode (YouTube) will be solicited ad hoc... Not really, only if you're into that sort of thing.
