He just left our house, like any other Saturday afternoon for three years now, and every time he leaves, I have the same feeling of putting my son’s musical knowledge in the best hands (ever).
Our son passed this year the Certificate of Merit in Piano with a perfect score, and we thank 100% Mr. Shapovalov for such success.
Mr. Shapovalov is a great pianist, educated, polite, and kind. Our son loves him like he was family, and his performance just gets better and better. It is unbelievable how much he improved working with Mr. Shapovalov.
Mr. Shapovalov organizes recitals, workshops, and pre-tests in order to prepare his students for the Certificate of Merit test. He takes proud in his students’ success and works with our son using multiple approaches, all of them orientated to make the lesson fun and useful, totally aligned with the Certificate of Merit test expectations.
I feel bad it took so long to write a review about this fabulous teacher. I guess I didn’t want to share our “treasure” with anybody else! But seriously: if you are looking for a committed, professional musician, and stellar teacher, all in one person… contact Mr. Shapovalov. Enjoy.

Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.

When I went looking for a piano teacher, I was looking for someone who wasn't rigid so I'd have the flexibility to work on the type of music I enjoy listening to. I mean...who wants to play songs they don't like in the first place?! Zach is a great listener, is very technical, and can work with a student in a way that best suits their goals. He is very pragmatic, and as an adult student this is very important. I've learned a lot more than I expected at this point."

Maddie very much enjoyed her first lesson with you and looks forward to the rest of her lessons this summer!"
