I believe that drumming is a universal practice for joy, health, communication and discipline available for anybody...any age...any brain...any body.

I enjoy helping other people find the groove within them, strive to improve, and adapt their drumming regimen to make "the work" of drum practice feel more like the "play" of sport and meditation ... fun, free, and refreshing

Adam is an excellent teacher! I have always been intimidated by playing the drum set, but Adam was so good at explaining each step that it felt almost simple. After just a few lessons I was able to figure out some songs on my own, and felt confident enough to play with friends. Thank, Adam!

Corey is a fantastic drummer! Take advantage of time at home while learning new skills, and this is a great way to stay active and keep your energy up. Corey has been drumming for a very long time and has an excellent positive attitude, you can't miss!

A great experience! I have been learning with Corey for about two months, and am already improving. I am a guitar player with some basic drumming experience. I was looking to finally get to the next level so I could record my own drum beats (also drumming always looked like a lot of fun!), and Corey is helping me to achieve this. He is a talented drummer himself, and was able to quickly assess my playing level so we could start building on it. He has a great eye and ear for issues with my technique and always has an exercise to address them. In a short time I have experienced significant improvement, playing some more creative drum patterns, and am looking forward to continuing.
A lot of fun, very fulfilling, great instructor! Highly recommended!

Corey is an awesome drummer....truly knows the heart and soul of his craft! He's patient and kind...all around a cool dude! Check him out!

Dylan is an excellent teacher and an amazing drummer. He is down-to-earth and makes you feel comfortable immediately. He's also very organized regarding scheduling, and his lesson plans are flexible and productive. His teaching style is detail oriented and he explains well. He does not hesitate to correct my child and still encourages her to play better. Dylan is very enthusiastic about drumming and makes lessons a joy to take.

I offer 24 years of experience playing, and 17 years teaching privately and as a public school band director. My curriculum focuses on technique, theory, style, and interpretation.

To develop quality drumming technique, an emphasis on playing position, grip, and sticking is incorporated in each portion of a given lesson.

The importance of theory and rudiments is outlined and taught with each lesson. A challenging assignment to improve technical ability and music theory knowledge directly correlated to the assigned repertoire will help students understand the structure of the music they are practicing.

Students will dedicate practice time to both rudimental drumming and set drumming. Demonstrating the highest level of performance and knowledge of a piece is the desired result. A portion of each lesson is also dedicated to students learning the various styles on the drum set.

If you are up for a challenging and fun workout on the drums, hit me up for lessons!

"Anthony has really pulled through for me these past few months. I’m a senior in highschool this year applying for schools and was preparing with him for all of my college auditions. Anthony knew the nuances the panels were looking for, giving me practical and specific exercises to work on my weaknesses. Those exercises opened up my playing, solidified my foundation, and helped me become a more fluid improviser. If you’re looking for a teacher who is an active member of the scene, who has put in the work himself, and can expose you to various styles...Anthony is, without a doubt, the man!"

"My 12 year old son took lessons with Richard for 2 years in Antlanta. He is a very friendly and patient teacher. I was amazed how quickly my son progressed within a short period of time. He is now playing in his first band. Unfortunately we had to move out of state and my son truly misses his lessons with Richard, especially because Richard made it always fun. If you are looking for a drum teacher, who can bring the best out of your child, then Richard is the guy for the job!"

"I have know Ty Key for over ten years, he is a human metronome. He can play any style of music and play it to perfection. I have seen him perform with different bands and different styles over the years and one thing is constant, his play stands out. I have seen him record at East West studios In LA tracking both live drums and the total live percussion set and the results were amazing. He plays in the pocket, both rhythm and solos. I could not feel more comfortable recommending someone who has mastered their craft more than Ty. He is easy to get along with and an outstanding teacher. He has worked as a drum technician and teacher at school ever since I’ve known him. He is a great person and you would lucky to learn from him."
