I truly love and appreciate ASL! I would love the opportunity to teach others this amazing language. I am patient and have taught children as young as 6 years old and have interpreted for adults. I will also go at your pace and will never rush through a lesson. Be assured that when you take lessons with me, I will always focus on the quality of your learning, not the quantity.

About Cosette

Hi, there! My name is Cosette and I can't wait to meet you! I've taught private lessons since 2009 and have loved helping my students learn, explore, and develop their skills. I went to Wild Hope Academy and have studied in the music field for over a decade. After beginning with piano and

Over a span of ten years of teaching music lessons, Cosette was one of my fastest-learning students. Cosette strives to do her very best in every piece she performs and this was evident. Cosette not only would come to lessons prepared; but also because she was always willing to try a new type of dynamic or articulation, or to think of a musical phrase in a new way that would make the passage stronger or more musical. This approach brought her to a high level of playing, quickly.

In addition to her assigned material, Cosette would often work on additional pieces for church, other functions, or just for enjoyment, and bring them to the lesson. I always like it when my students bring extra music like this to the lesson; it shows initiative and involvement with others around them. Cosette definitely enjoyed collaborating musically with her family and friends.

In my opinion, once study and learning has taken place, it is a musician’s duty to look beyond the mechanics and to serve others with their talent - which is something Cosette is already doing.

Cosette is very passionate about teaching piano and vocal lessons. She takes her time and gives great instructions on what I need to work on. She is truly devoted and loves what she does.

As her former piano teacher, Cosette was a gifted, eager student who practiced diligently. Cosette pushed herself every bit as hard as I pushed her, and she has a sensitivity to music's subtleties. Her personal character and love of music of music made her a delightful student.

Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to carry on a simple conversation in the language, and as time goes on you'll be able to feel totally at ease with Deaf people. "Eduardo has been an excellent teacher! I am a psychologist who has always had an interest in ASL and Deaf culture. I had taken some ASL lessons prior to beginning my online classes with Eduardo. I was signing around an intermediate level but I still had difficulty with expanding my ASL vocabulary, signing in ASL word order, appropriate use of facial expressions and being comfortable and confident with my signing. Eduardo has helped me in all of these areas. He is a patient and encouraging teacher but also knows how to challenge and help his students achieve their best! Eduardo is also great at individualizing and tailoring the lessons to meet his students' specific needs. For example, I have always want to to improve my signing so that one day I could be a psychologist who works with individuals in the Deaf community. Eduardo has tailored my lessons to help me learn new medical/psychology terminology in ASL. He also teaches me by guiding me through mock mental health/counseling sessions so that I can practice and get a feel for what it may be like to sign and converse with a Deaf patient. My signing has definitely improved with Eduardo's instruction. I highly recommend Eduardo!"
