About Jason
TakeLessons.com Instructor since 2005, Jason M. is now available for online lessons worldwide featuring multiple-camera angles and a share screen experience leaving no stone un-turned!

Jason has been playing guitar for over 15 years and teaching music since 1996. Although trained in standard teaching methods, he has developed his own method of teaching to positively enhance the student€™s strength, dexterity, ear-training, memorization and techniques. His goal as a teacher is specifically designed to help you achieve your goals as an artist and a musician.

This year Jason was also the Music Director at the National Guitar Workshop Day Jams Rock Music Day Camp where students ages 7-15 came out to form bands, record original material and master their craft. He also taught beginning to advanced guitar/ vocals/ performance and songwri
ting as hosted a recording clinic at the end of each day.

Jason has host student showcases/charity benefits where his students were able to get on stage and show off their new talent and perform with other musicians. It wasn't mandatory though, if you were just looking to come out and support there was no pressure other than to come out and have fun.

Jason has been transcribing for guitar and bass since the age of 18 and since then has become a master of the craft including both 5 line staff and tablature, hand-crafted exercises and deconstructions to better enhance the students learning. Artists and genres that Jason has experience with range from Classic Rock, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Guns N' Roses, Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Robert Johnson, Pierce the Veil, Paramore, All Time Low, Demi Lava to, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Pantera, Avenged Sevenfold, The White Stripes, Green Day, Old Crow Medicine Show, Taylor Swift, Mumford and Sons, Bruno Mars, Rob Zombie, John 5, Audioslave, Rage Against the Machine, Van Morrison, the Beatles, AC/DC, ZZ-Top, Bullet For My Valentine, All That Remains, Ozzy, Black Label Society, Sublime, Aerosmith, At the Drive In, Type O Negative, the Black Keys, the Pixies, the Toadies, Black Sabbath, Jason Mraz, Lady GaGa, John Mayer and Journey.

Jason attended the University of Alaska, Anchorage where his degree is in Music and Business. He is constantly continuing his education with music theory courses as well as private guitar instruction. He attends guitar workshops and seminars by artists such as John5 and Kerry King who are known as some of the worlds finest guitar players. He reviews every day from a wide range of over 1000 sources working to become a better musician and instructor.

Another nice feature that you might enjoy from one on one sessions with Jason is learning the ability to craft and record your own songs using state of the art technology that caters to your own unique personality. There are no limits!

Jason teaches all experience levels from beginner to intermediate and advanced as well as artists that are signed to labels.

About Jacquie
As a young child, Jacquie began to show interest in both piano and voice. Coming from a musical family tree, her father began teaching her beginner piano as well as vocal harmony through original children compositions. She began her formal piano training at age 8 and continued to study for the next 5 years. At this time she also began writing music and recording her compositions in the family recording studio.

Around the age of 12, Jacquie began her training in classical voice. She is well versed in all styles from Opera to Pop and has the unique ability to train others to accomplish their musical goals. As a Coloratura Soprano she has starred in many productions and won prestigious vocal competitions throughout the USA and Europe. Jacquie is an accomplished Contemporary Songwriter and Recording Artist which has caught the eye of quit
e a few National Recording Companies. In the Summer of 2000 she toured throughout Tuscany, Italy as a featured soloist with SSMA with an Orchestral Ensemble. While in college she minored in Piano Performance and majored in Vocal Performance.

Jacquie began teaching at the age of 16 from her family's music store in beginner piano and voice where she learned the art of being an private instructor. Since then she has taught at other prestigious Music Schools and has trained students of all ages to the advanced level. She prides herself on the ability to be able to customize each lesson to accommodate both the student's wants and needs. She has trained many students who have gained successful entrance into LVPA Charter High School, Community Theaters and highly acclaimed competitions such as "American Idol." In 2005 she acquired a membership with NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing).

Come have FUN with Jacquie, she would love to have the opportunity to guide you or your children through a musical journey!

As a private instructor Jacquie believes that lessons can be both FUN and rewarding. She holds her students accountable for practicing and preparing for the next week's lesson by setting goals and providing techniques in order to be successful. Throughout the lesson she will give praise for the students accomplishments as well as give constructive feedback for improvement. She prefers to teach from the Alfred's Piano Library for Piano, recommends Theory, Harmony & Solfege, as well as materials for the students choice of Musical and Vocal style. It is also recommended to bring a notebook, binder and personal MP3 device in order to prepare for the next week's lesson. Within the first 3-6 months a student will have learned the beginning techniques for either piano or voice and have quite a few songs added to their repertoire.

Jacquie's studio has a comfortable seating area for parents to observe the lesson if desired. She also has a full size digital studio piano, recording studio, stereo, and other musical necessities to accommodate each and every lesson professionally.

All styles from Opera to POP!
Experience with teaching young children, special needs (physically/intellectually disabled), and people who are tone deaf.

MissG is awesome and highly recommend her. She is instructing my daughter and I for her sweet 16 father/daughter dance. She gave us great ideas for moves and great instruction on how to count and move to the music. I was worried about this dance coming together and definitely could not done it without her! We are set to do this dance in another 2 weeks and now feel confident about doing this.

In less than a year of working with Heather I have regained so much Mobility that I had lost due to injuries. In addition I've lost over 15 pounds and kept it off which I have not been able to do for years. The combination of working out doing yoga and even meditation has given me so much more confidence than I've had in a long time. I absolutely adore Heather.

She always helps me push a bit out of my comfort zone in order to strengthen myself and my body, but never gives me more than I can handle physically. I'll continue going to her as long as she is a teacher and motivator and I'd definitely recommend her to anyone looking for help with their fitness, pole, and well-being needs.

I have been coaching for 6 years now. I have coached private lessons, club teams, high school teams, and middle school teams. I developed my passion and interest for coaching when I was in college playing volleyball where we held camps and helped out coaching. With such a wide variety of coaches in my developmental stages, I became a mixture of the many different styles and methods of all the coaches that taught me to be the person and athlete that I am today. I owe all my success to them and my passion lies in wanting to share my knowledge and love for my sport to others.

I have been playing volleyball and lacrosse for 13 years. I have played at all levels from middle school, high school varsity, internationally, collegiate division one, recreationally, and on all platforms such as indoor, doubles grass, and doubles beach.I am a lefty w

I was a dual athlete in college and loved every minute of it! Annabel took a lot of time and effort to correct bad habits formed by other coaches. She helped me from when I was in middle school all the way through to helping me get recruited in college. She came to my tournaments and played with me in grass leagues. She does everything in her power to make sure you gain the most out of each and every interaction with her. She has been an amazing role model for me on and off the court and I couldn't thank her enough for all that she has given me. She cares deeply for all of her clients and spends all hours of the day answering calls, texts, emails, and forming plans and strategies that work for each person. She has helped me through all aspects of time management, diet, nutrition, exercise, and even helped me pick out a dress for prom! She listened to me complain about my boyfriend, parents, and school and was like an older sister to me. I struggled obtaining the grades to go to my dream school and Annabel checked in with me everyday to make sure I was getting my work done and studying for tests and always asked if I needed any help. I was a completely lost cause when I came to Annabel and now I'm playing division 1 volleyball for my dream school. I couldn't pass, set, hit, serve, or focus on the court. I had zero court vision or volleyball IQ. I was goofy footed, wore the incorrect shoes, and didn't even think I would ever make it any further than middle school volleyball. My dreams were accomplished thanks to Annabel. I am forever grateful. Literally best instructor ever. Worth every penny and then some.
