Whether you’re a seasoned professional singer/actor looking to expand your repertoire, or an amateur singer/actor who wants to sing more effectively, studying with Ms. Christine will give you an understanding of Broadway Singing.
My course will develop your technique and skills in Broadway singing so that you'll be comfortable with almost any audition you may encounter.

I believe in the extraordinary power of music to communicate, to inspire and, often, to heal. That belief underlies all my work. I’ve been teaching Broadway style singing to adults and kids for over ten years, focusing on how to produce a big, beautiful, and vocally safe sound. My students run the gamut from musical theater and opera professionals to kids and total beginners.
My goal is to help you find the power to express through singing your unique self. It doesn't matter whether your voice is professional quality or whether it's even "good" in the conventional sense. It's YOUR voice. It has its own sound and characteristics, its own particular beauty, and the world needs to hear you!
I have advanced training and expertise in the function of the voice, but the most important qualities I offer as a teacher are the simple human ones: understanding, patience, imagination, kindness, enthusiasm, respectfulness and absolute commitment to helping you meet your vocal goals.
About Nancy
I'm a classically trained soprano who has had the great good fortune to sing leading roles in masterpieces with such companies as the Caramoor Music Festival, Glimmerglass Opera and the Aspen Music Festival. I also have undergraduate and master's degrees from Brown University and the Manhattan Scho

She is very talented, knowledgeable and happy to share! My daughter can't wait for the lessons and has learned a lot from her."

Molly has helped me with so much; she teaches you beyond what you could expect of yourself and guides you to your fullest potential.. all while keeping it fun and comfortable!! Molly doesn't just help you learn how to sing, she helps you learn to love to sing."

There are so many good things I could say about Arlys. I came to her with only a few weeks to prepare for an audition and with no previous lesson experience. In only the four and a half hours she taught me, I feel like it made a huge difference. She has wonderful teaching techniques that she learned professionally, but she's also wonderful at learning along the way. She work with you and suddenly there's a whole new way she finds to teach you. She seems to learn from every lesson she teaches and is so obviously enthusiastic about what she does. Even outside of our lessons, she did a bit of research into my audition song to try and find a way to make it easier to learn. She even called me after my audition to see how it went.
Her wonderful teaching skills aside, she's also great at making you feel comfortable. I went to her full of anxiety and within the first few minutes I was immediately comfortable around her. She also was able to teach me an amazing meditation technique that's not only calming but also makes you more alert, something none of my therapists for my anxiety were able to do.
In short: She knows what she's doing, she learns along the way, she's so easy to relax around, and she shows a great deal of care for her students."
