It's also very energizing for me to work with intermediate students to hone your skills. I focus on proper technique, basic music theory, and a wide variety of repetoire, all while having fun together! I cant wait to help you learn to play.
I typically begin students on traditional method books, and then move to more classical repetoire, supplementing with pieces or genres that the student has interest in!
Typical lessons will include warm ups (scales, arpeggios, other techniques to warm up the fingers), working on repetoire (may include folk songs, broadway/disney, pop, classical, sacred), music theory (note and rest values, key and time signatures, interval recognition, ear training, note recognition, etc.)
