I have studied advanced math for over a decade and teach it with great success! I can help you master math ranging from prealgebra to calculus III.

For my beginner students, I will help you work through the basic concepts and achieve what you need! For my advanced students, I'll do lessons, practice tests, help with assignments and tests and solidify what you need to know! You let me know what you need and I'll help you best accomplish your goals in math.

The physics majors at my college score higher on math-related tests than the math majors there because of how heavily we have to be familiar with those concepts. Let me help you master math! Send me a message about your needs. Thanks!

About Alex
Teaching is what I do! I have TAed multiple classes and taught dozens of students. I teach piano and other music concepts, as well as STEM fields in school. I only teach concepts that I'm completely fluent in, however, so you always get the absolute best instruction possible!

I have been playing piano for over 12 years. I retrained from scratch in the Taubman Technique a few years ago and play with ease and effortless musicality! I have taught tons of students how to play the instrument, incorporating these concepts into their playing as well.

I also tutor in STEM topics, including all
math, physics, chemistry, and others. I have tutored over 2 dozen students and helped many achieve great results. I have a Master's degree in applied physics, graduated Magna cum Laude, and am fully prepared to help you master your math/science classes!

Schedule a lesson with me! See yourself improve from someone who knows how people think and understands the topics enough to impart the same onto you!

Alex is fantastic. As a student, it's obvious he's had years of experience dealing with the material taught, and he explains problems in a thorough, well-contrived manner. Since beginning these sessions, my grades have risen greatly. I can't recommend them enough!

Hello there from a certified secondary math teacher! I am so happy you are taking the necessary steps to begin feeling academically confident again! I’m excited to join in the partnership of digging deep and filling in any missing knowledge to empower YOU to succeed. As a bit of history, I was a secondary math teacher for seven years before becoming a stay-at-home mom for the past six years. Since then I have been tutoring students anywhere from kindergarten to high school in a variety of subjects. I know that together we can work to help you or your child feel more confident and successful.

About Julie
While many people possess the content knowledge in a given subject, few have the ability to communicate this knowledge to others. In order to be a good teacher, a person must be able to impart this knowledge in a way students can understand. I believe students should be encouraged to learn in a positive environment that models problems they will encounter in life. My teaching and tutoring methods are based in experiential and mastery learning to ensure students’ true comprehension rather than memorization.
