I’m a classical trained dancer who has developed into the world of modern dance and dance fitness so I can sculpt the class to fit individual needs! And I’m happy to work with anyone, having close to 10 years of experience teaching small children to adults! I’m happy to see you happy and learning and excited to get going!

This dance course is focused on movement for actors. You will learn very beginner movements inspired by yoga and modern dance techniques. We can use this as movement therapy as well. I want you to feel and love your bodies at the end of it. I am very good at coaching choreography or a dance you need help on.

I have taught and choreographed professionally for almost 8 years, and started dancing 21 years ago. I am passionate about teaching the technique to dancing, but also how to move their body with style. I have trained and worked with some of the top choreographers in LA and have a large amount of experience in the dance industry. I can teach jazz, technique, hip hop, jazz funk, lyrical, and contemporary.With a background in yoga, I ensure you are listening to your body to prevent injuries and having proper form. I love to help kids and adults build their confidence, brand themselves as dancers, and give them top training with the years of knowledge I have.

Carolyn began working professionally at 8 years old and has since appeared on stage, in national commercials, recorded voiceovers, and booked principal roles in both film and television. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2011 from the Boston Conservatory, where she majored in musical theater with an emphasis in directing. With years of extensive dance training, she's had the opportunity to perform the original Broadway choreography in several major productions she has been a part of, her favorite being the tap spectacular "42nd Street." As an award winning choreographer, her pieces have been recognized nationally at dance competitions across the country.

I have been dancing since I was in high school, so a total of 11 years. There is a lot that can be mastered in 11 years than one thinks. I currently still am a dancer today. I danced for a dance company and have danced for a competitive company called C8 here in Los Angeles. I am currently doing field work to expand on Pedagogy for a dance curriculum in schools... I am glad to share more if interested. I currently teach kids in middle school. I love teaching Hip Hip, Jazz, Ballet, locking, fusion, and improvised dance. Don't be shy, LETS DANCE!!
