I've been teaching and performing professionally for over 10 years. I have my BA in music and business. I have had some amazing experiences along the way. I've worked with world renowned vocal coaches, sang at Carnegie Hall, and played on various cds to raise money/awareness for charity projects. I'm grateful for all of this, but I love working with students on their music most of all. It delights me to see a student have an "aha" moment where they realize that they have what it takes to be great. I started with Patty's classes in 2001. I was 51 years old and getting pretty beat up by Menopause
and Endometriosis in particular. I was a Jogger for many years but needed to add a good class with
weights and high and low impact exercise to really get into good shape. My best friend recommended
Patty's Classes and rest as they say is History.
Everyone knows that Exercise is critical to good health and if you have any chronic conditions is it
especially important !! Patty's training sessions are the best I have ever gone to - in addition to the exercises, the knowledge
she has imparted to all of us has been just as rewarding. I schedule everything "around" my training.
because I never want to miss and the older I get the more critical it is for me !
It is not an exaggeration by any stretch of the imagination when I say that her training session have saved my life
because it is literally true. I had a serious illness a few years ago that took such a physical toll that there
is no way I could have survived it had I not been in the best physical shape of my life and that was at age 60 !
Oh and her Boot Camp class is the best ever - hands down.

My instruction extends nationwide, with students from all corners of the US, utilizing online tutoring services such as Skype.
My main field of study is in MATH (trig, algebra, geometry, precalculus), CHEMISTRY (high school and college), and PHYSICS (high school and college).
I completed my Bachelors in Physics and Mathematics Education at Hunter University and have gained experience with both in-person and online group instruction and curriculum development.
Some examples of the students I have tutored are: Elementary school students preparing for State competitions and exams; High school and College students in preparance for entrance exams, and in subjects such as algebra, geom
I do Regents and SAT/ACT prep for these subjects as well as the GRE (These are NYS based High School Preparatory Exams - do not hesitate to ask should you need assistance with the ones offered in your state/country).
In addition, I am thorough and meticulous, by paying special attention to how the student grasps information and retains it, I prepare individualized handwritten reviews, with supplemental material found online and in texts.
I assign homework to keep my students ahead of what is going on in class, and a visual and intuitive understanding of the concepts I present is important to me, so I use visual aids (diagrams and interactive models) to help my students integrate what they learn with me in real life situations.
My instruction includes:
1. Tutoring based on the school curriculum
2. Instruction on the home-schooling curriculum
3. Assisting those with a gap in going back to school/university.
I start with an assessment based on what the student has trouble with or last remembers covering in school, and prepare material going from there.
As a result, my students all have improved grades without any need for cramming before tests, and I encourage a stress-free and easygoing learning environment.
My lessons are fun and enthusiastic - these subjects are beautiful and will help open your mind to new ways of thinking - whatever your field of study!

I see marked improvements in their grades for this past year, and my eldest is actually skipping fourth grade as a result of lessons. I am astounded as to my girls' progress, and greatly appreciative of our tutor's expertise.
Her patient, methodical approach to teaching is why I see us remaining with her for all of our educational instruction. She has already taught arithmetic to my youngest (3rd grade), and algebra to my eldest (starting 5th this sept!), and is proceeding with more advanced math with no issue whatsoever. In Yoga Therapy sessions, we will explore a wide variety of healing modalities suited to your individual needs and wellness goals, whether they are physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual. These sessions are designed to cultivate deep relaxation, increased body awareness, self-acceptance, and peace of mind.

Upon deciding to begin Yoga Therapy with Kaity Rose, you will be given an intake questionnaire to complete for Kaity to gain a larger understanding of your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual goals. Based on this intake process, a yoga class is created specifically for you. Your first session will typically last 90 minutes for further intake.
After your initial assessment, you will practice a personalized session with your Yoga Therapist. You are welcome to record your session to practice again at home. Your personal protocol will be written up, in most cases, for ease in taking the practice home. Results are dependent on your commitment to practice the techniques daily. Expected practice time is approximately 20 minutes/day.

My Favorite Client Story I
One of my clients was moving and traveling around quite a bit, and he wanted help getting a solid workout regimen that was safe for his shoulder injury. PLUS he wanted to learn how to speak Chinese Mandarin through our workouts! Needless to say, this has been quite the fun and challenging mission for BOTH of us – he has improved significantly in endurance, body mass composition, and his new language skills – all while keeping his shoulder safe.
My favorite exercise is…
The vinyasa series in yoga (plank, chaturanga, upward-facing dog, downward-facing dog): it is so good for the entire body in terms of building strength, stamina and flexibility! I always try to include at least a few of these in each workout (maybe as part of the dynamic warm-up of a bootcamp class, and definitely as part of my yoga flows). It helps mobilize the spine, warm up the shoulders and hamstrings, activate the core, and center your focus.
