I started my teaching career when I was a college student. In Japan, I taught both English and Japanese to middle and high school students at a private academy.
I have also taught Japanese and English to adults especially the spouses stationed in Japan and also American community college. I have a Master of Education in TESL; therefore, I’ve taught English more vigorously, but know what it takes to be successful at second language acquisition. I really find it rewarding to teach those who are interested in a foreign language and culture.
I like to get to know your learning styles and what motivates you. I will cater to your needs and make your own lesson plan just for you.
I’ve taught both children and adults and depending on how they learn and what they need to improve on, I’ve used different books and activities. Feel free to let me know what you are looking for!

She has specialized trademarked drills that she has created so that we train my muscles to move exactly with the true sounds of English as opposed to accent courses that show you the sounds alone. No sounds are said by themselves, so we do drills that incorporate full sentences so that I sound more like a native speaker. She even created Sound Like Americans Accent bootcamp course, and she gave me that for free that I use for the rest of my life and follow the 2-minute drills every day.
